Classic Megaman is so criminally underestimated in a fighting game. The next time MVC wants him back, combine his MVC and Smash movesets into one. Yes this includes his custom moves from Smash 4.

Unpopular opinion but Megaman’s Slide could’ve been given some oomph whether it’s a mod or even vanilla Megaman, remember Charge Man in MM5? You get Charge Kick from him, another Melee weapon like with Top Spin from Top Man, never understood how the devs didn’t get the idea to give him the Charge Kick as an upgraded down tilt. Could even make for an interesting Down Smash.

His Mega Buster should’ve always been on his Neutral-B, and making Break Dash be the Dash Attack is whatever, but the other changes they made are not it. Why is bro kicking you for his Forward Smash instead of shooting Atomic Fire or Knight Crush or something

Ehh I think Megaman is a little TOO faithful to his series, stuff like forward tilt and nair being the same makes his moveset feel a bit redundant and it doesn’t help that they designed him to be too reliant on projectiles which makes for annoying characters to fight against.

@@teaoftraffic Olimar is also poorly designed so idk what your point is. I know he's supposed to be a weak fighter without his Pikmin and there's a lot of careful thinking about which Pikmin you want to utilize in a given situation, but his gameplay is just so boring and flaccid. There's so much more they could do with him, but he was likely a late addition to Brawl and has barely evolved since, they just gave him flying Pikmin for Up-B and an Alph skin. Those Pikmin animated shorts show just how much personality the explorers and their Pikmin could potentially have if they bothered to update him

Ngl, this moveset is much more boring than the official one. Mega Man is all about the special weapons, and so they should factor extensively into his moveset.
