Hard to say for sure. I think where the damage will be more on the prop guards with this new design and the center part will be more protected.

I have these BETAFPV VR02 goggles and unfortunately I am disappointed with them. They don't remember the channel set when turned off. The screen is sharp, but the image is too dark, and the goggles do not have any possibility to adjust the brightness, contrast, etc. This means that I cannot fly in them comfortably. I tried to fly them with several different drones with different camera brightness. A few other people, who I asked to test them on the fly, had similar feelings. What's your feeling with these goggles, Albert?

I talked about the VR02 goggles in detail in my video. In a nutshell, not great goggles for experienced pilots but you have to consider the short comings in context with the value/cost and you get what you pay for in the end. Also, with almost all goggles, everyone's experience is different. I know a lot of people who actually like the VR02 goggles and can see the screen just fine. YMMV with goggles as always.

Don't have this anymore, don't remember off hand. I'm pretty sure it's documented in the manual which you have and I do not.

You see the video feed from the camera on the drone. This doesn't work with games.

Hey albert, can you use 450 mah beta fpv batteries instead of the normal 350 mah

They will power the drone but you'll need to figure out a way to mount the battery as the tray is designed to only fit the 300mah batteries. You may not even get more flight time as the extra weight draws more power from the battery faster. The flight time might even be less.
