The BetaFPV Pavo 25 V2 is one of the most versatile cinewhoops for indoor/outdoor flying with ot without a GoPro 🔥
✅ 1506 4200 kv motors = more power to carry a heavy GoPro
✅ Functional ducts = more efficiency + longer flights
✅ F722 V2 AIO + 35a ESC = 6s ready 💪
❌ No easy access to sd card or usb (fix = usb extension)
❌ Difficult to balance COG w/ GoPro
What do you guys think? 🤔

You'll have a ton of fun with it, just take your time the cable management when you install your Air Unit, it's a little fiddly. I pinched one of my motor wires in the standoffs putting it back together for the first time but fortunately I noticed right away and didn't cut it or anything. Enjoy it!

Hey man thanks for the reviews. You make drone shopping fairly easy and informative. I snagged a Pavo Pico based off your review alone. And with a few months of flying, I’m ready for something like the 25 here. I wanna know a few things first. Outside of the cable issues, would you say this is the best indoor outdoor lightweight cinewhoop? Or would you choose the QAV? Also, is there a cable you recommend for the DJI? And can you link it? As far as 35s go do you think the Pavo is one of the best contenders? I’m looking to grab a small one and a large one like the 25 and 35, but don’t know what’s the most recommended. Thanks and I’ll continue to support your channel as I find a ton of value here.

Hey Lennon, thanks a lot for your support, I really appreciate it! If you are in the market for a single drone that can do both indoors and outdoor flights, and you prefer not to build, I would recommend the Pavo25V2. It is great in both situations and it's unique in the fact that it can handle a GoPro where other 2.5"'s cannot due to the larger motors and functional ducts. If you are in the market for a 3.5" the Pavo35 is also a great option. I has loads of power on 6s, and I noticed mine flew really well and I would cruise around at just 25-30% throttle! The Cinelog35 is another solid choice for a pre-built, but personally I like how the Pavo35 flies. If you prefer to build, then I would choose one of the QAV frames to build up. Those frames are very high quality but they are more expensive. So my recommendation would be the BetaFPV for value and the QAV for quality. The good news is that they are all good options, there are no bad choices here...

Excellent review, taking into account the video, would you recommend it to always fly it with a GoPro 10 full? I'm thinking about buying it and leaving it analog to reduce the weight a little and record with a GoPro, thanks for the information, I appreciate it, new sub
@colibrifpv
@colibrifpv 3 ай бұрын
Hey Santiago, thanks for that! No, I wouldn't recommend flying a full GoPro on the Pavo25V2. It definitely CAN handle the weight, so if you already own a Full GoPro 10 you definitely can use it, but it will fly so much better with something lighter like a GoPro Bones or a DJI Action 2. As for analog, if you already own the analog gear, sure why not? However, the DJI O3 is going to give such a better and more reliable image I would take the plunge and go DJI O3, and you can get some very usable footage from the O3 when lighting conditions are good...

Nice review, thank you! I was wondering whether to get a Pavo20 or Pavo25. After watching your video, I think I will go for the Pavo25. Just wondering, is it possible to mount a higher capacity lipo battery on it? like 1000+ mah battery? considering the pavo25 can carry a gopro, is it strong enough to carry a 1000mah 4s battery?
@colibrifpv
@colibrifpv 2 ай бұрын
Hey, thanks for watching! Oh yes, it can definitely carry a larger battery if you are not carrying a GoPro. I would think anything from 600-1200 4s would be feasible, though I would only run batteries over 850 without an external cam, but it will fly better without getting too heavy, i.e., 850-1000 is the sweet-spot for me...

Looking to get into real estate walk throughs, and would like to be able to do the very nimble shots I've seen the pavo pico pull off (flying through chandeliers and under faucets ect...). Can the pico handle a naked go pro or would you recommend this one over it? Looking for very smooth rather than acro ability.
@colibrifpv
@colibrifpv Ай бұрын
Hey Johnny, no, the Pico definitely cannot handle any sort of external action camera, except maybe an insta360go, but even that might be too much. I would recommend the Pavo25 for real estate fly throughs because it is so much more capable and versatile, those motors can handle a naked GoPro just fine, and its large enough to do your wide outdoor shots yet small enough to fly indoors. It's a pretty solid choice for FPV video work where you need to fly with a GoPro but also need to fly indoors.

Hey Aaron, thanks for watching! It's a completely different animal than the Pavo Pico, the Pico is super fun at the park because it's super silent and not at all intimidating around people, so it's also a good one to have in your fleet! Hi. Sorry couldn't find why you went with this drone over similar from other companies. For example GEPRC25 or some other drones in this category. Have you tried something else and what would you say about it. Thanks!
@colibrifpv
@colibrifpv 18 күн бұрын
Hey thanks for watching! Yeah, I looked very closely at the Cinelog 25 from GEPRC, and I went with the Pavo25 V2 mostly for the better power system... the larger motors on the Pavo25 V2 give me the option to carry a GoPro Bones when I want too, and a 2.5" cinewhoop that can carry a GoPro is literally a do-it-all solution for most filming projects, indoors/outdoors, etc. However, the Cinelog25 does have a better camera dampening system, and GEPRC's BNF's are known to fly amazing out of the box, so it's not a bad choice either. For me it comes down to whether or not you want to carry a GoPro. If you don't, or if you want to carry a "naked" cam, consider the Cinelog25, but if you want the flexibility to carry a heavier cam (notice I flew a full GoPro Mini in this video... no way the Cinelog 25 could do that!), then consider the Pavo25 V2 👍

@@colibrifpv Thanks for the reply. I'm still on analog for now, but planning to switch to O3 and looking around to what would be nice choice. Mostly I was wondering and asking about overall quality(there is a bit difference in price and I thought it may be worse if cheaper...), and not planning to use goPro, for self use O3 is enough I think. In future if need for commercial usage will invest separately, but for now just fun and some memory vids. Would you also suggest a 2 inch series of any brand or 2.5 is the golden middle(kind of best in between 2 and 3 inches)

Pavo 25 V2 has better ducts (more duarable and add efficiency) larger motor which allow you to carry a heavier camera, better GoPro mount (full mount versus GepRC's naked mount). Cinelog 25 V2 has a better dampening system for the DJI O3 camera and is known to fly very well (GEPRC's BNF have a great reputation for being properly tuned out of the box) Have you considered the CInebot 25? It's GEPRC's answer to the Pavo25 V2 and has many of the same advantages of both of the choices you mentioned (more durable ducts, beefier motors, etc.) bit.ly/Cinebot25
