BetaMindy Mod Showcase | Part 1/3

Hello, GWAPO here! In this video, I will showcase the mod 'BetaMindy' made by sk7225.

If you're wondering why I split it into two parts, I wanted to explain how pistons work throughly, doing so in this video would make it quite long. I also left out a few things.

About Mindustry → Mindustry is a hybrid tower-defense sandbox factory game. Create elaborate supply chains of conveyor belts to feed ammo into your turrets, produce materials to use for building, and defend your structures from waves of enemies. Features include a map editor, 24 built-in maps, cross-platform multiplayer, and large-scale PvP unit battles.

Quick list of the most useful things here for normal gameplay below. Also, VERY nice music, (would be nice to have source) and I look forward to more of what BetaMindy has to offer! Thank you Mini/Mega Driller: for when you have those tiny spots you NEED to mine or cannot use a conveyor. (I love this one) Repair Turret: when you need single blocks repaired, and to heal units (and blocks) faster Boost Panel, Bumpers, Fans: Helps move you or units around more quickly/over walls (maybe?). Helps since they can regularly get stuck on terrain sometimes Deconstructor: When you have units left on your map but don't need them and don't want to use/risk explosives Team Block: as an alarm (most useful with multiplayer modes) Stuff below here is OP in my opinion: Block Forge: Quickly store, unload, and transfer large amounts of resources. Or to make bombs (stored Blast Compound or Thorium Reactors) and turrets for the Payload Cannon Payload Cannon/Catapult: Yeeting units or blocks (including loaded turrets) over large distances (including walls for sure) for remote devastation without needing a Payload Driver (which is coming to Mindustry in 7.0 (YES!) on the other end Special Walls: When you want to blockade the enemy and have them kill themselves at the same time (place away from the main base!), or as ammo for Payload Cannons. Very useful for "minefields" actually. Coal will work well against the beginning of a wave if positioned/used like a "Flame Gate"

4:22 I used this with a block forge and a block loader to make an atomic mortar using thorium reactors,it kinda works if it's in constant use,because it explodes if u don't use the reactors quickly

When I read this I was at first like "what?" then I remembered silicon is the homing ammo, so this makes sense. Well, as much as giant wall can maneuver it's way into something's face that is.

Something fun to do: fill a map[ideally empty with a core somewhere in the corner] with boost pads, add a command center, set it to rally, spawn a bunch of daggers, enjoy.
