Possibly my favourite BA video. An excellent piece of mentoring on the realities of trading, in particular being dispassionate about cutting losses, and making small percentage profits per market and the joys of compounding. If I mess up then, instead of kicking myself, I watch it all over again.

What prices were you trading when your bank was 300? Also did you split up the 300 when you put a trade on? Or use the full 300 to turn the market?
@betangeltv3 жыл бұрын
I would recommend splitting your bank. But for this example I would have used every bit of it. But for most I would consider that risky or a situation where you would probably put too much pressure on yourself.

If you have a small £300 bank should you treat it as if you have a big bank and reduce your stakes when a market comes along that you think your strategy won't work or just use your max bank for every trade to get as many trades through as possible to leverage your bank as much as possible?

You should treat it the same, raising and lower stakes. But I probably wouldn't, as I'm trying to max the growth of the bank. But as a general rule, you should.

Thanks for all of your excellent videos Peter. Quick question if I may, you set out with £300 & obviously staked accordingly (I presume). Did you then increase your stakes as your bank grew, or keep those same stakes that you started with, all the way through the month?
@betangeltv3 жыл бұрын
Generally speaking, the more money you have more opportunities open up so you would increase your stake size, gradually, as you progress. To be completely correct, you may not actually increase your stake size, but you may put through more than one trade at time. That's the most effective way to trade a small bank to a larger one. You cap the risk but increase the reward.

Great vid Peter, was wondering what sort of stake you were using for the £300 bank, and would the same results reflect the same during the winter months or would they drop off if less markets were available? what sort of bank growth from a £300 bank would you expect in the first month during the winter period?
