I love how she writes songs based on books, I ADORE it. It's like fanfiction but singing and personally I think that is the best thing ever. Besides, it's great for inspiration!!

Holy crap. This song came at both the perfect and the worst moment. I've had pretty deep feelings for one of my best friends for almost two years. I was gonna confess but from recent interactions I doubt he likes me back. So I was going to tell him I liked him but was moving on, and now... I realised that thats not going to work. I'm not moving on and I can't delude myself on that. And this song just encapsulates everything I'm feeling.
@jillato74 жыл бұрын
just saw this and wanted to tell you i was in the same situation, i liked him for five years, turns out he liked me for the past two years and finally said something. it may take awhile but it’s worth the wait
@blackcat63744 жыл бұрын
I feel you... I lived pretty much the same situation. If you want a small advice here it is: Say it, if he likes you back, great; if not then at least you won't be wondering about it any more and you can start moving on and still be friends. While you are moving on try to find small details that you really didn't like about him, and slowly transform him from that almost-perfect beign that our minds tend to transform our crushes into a person, still a someone that you care about, but a normal-person after all. If you didn't want any advice just ignore this and sorry for disturbing xd I just wished I had told myself that before
@Night-ud4ew4 жыл бұрын
@Bleu Lune Turning that "perfect being into a person" is amazing advice, however im going to add - dont let it become a habit. I recently came to understand how deep my inferiority issues are and for years i have been turning all my close friends into 'near perfect' beings and then pushing them away quite harshly while making them more 'human'. I lock on to a few of their flaws (usually really minor indiscretions too) and completely wall myself off from them emotionally. It's a bit different from just "near perfect being turned back into a human" but i think this mindset is where it started, then it became something more perverse and twisted and it became a horrible habit.

Let Jesus write your Love story so you know for sure...hard lesson I was told is we are resp9nsable for our own feelings..ouch but so true. I hear ya though..40 yrs now gone bye and not a day goes bye I wonder if he feels or even remembers he said he back in 5 weeks as he purposed to me on a visit to see him where his job sent him. Then I spoke to his other finance and apologized as I'm not out to hurt anyone .had just turned 21 and this Mar I now turn 61. 8m single. Ugh

Her books are really good, highly recommend. this is the order to start: 1) first three books of mortal instruments , 2)the infernal devices, 3)last three books of mortal instruments, 4) the dark artifices, then there are a bunch of side stories that you can read in any order I think, THEN the Last hours/ Chain of gold

Someone told me this one time, But then she ghosted me, I would have given her my whole world...Even then she contacted me at three different times only to ghost me twice more....To this day I forgive her and can still hold love for her, But she ran away...Three times after all I did was give her my love and trust...This song cuts so deep it actually hurts... Keep your heads up people, You will become stronger just never give up, You are precious and as I have said to many...Only you can say otherwise- Don't let others hurt you...They will try but you can rise above it...Use your heart...And keep it strong no matter the fractures... From a hurting girl to all of you...For what its worth...Love you all stay strong...

I have a male character that this song applies pretty well to. He's fallen in love with one of his teammates, but she has no idea he's interested and finds his concerns about her long chain of boyfriends annoying. She constantly makes fun of him and he makes jokes about her small stature in return. He still tries to be sweet and a bit flirtatious, but she thinks he's joking and refuses to take him seriously. He only has eyes for her and she can't see it.

I'm really feeling this. There's this guy, we've been talking online for about a month now. Even though we only live about ten minutes away, we haven't met in person yet. But our conversations have been really personal. I like him so much it hurts, and he says he likes me, but it's like the more I try to get close to him, the further he runs away. I see how much pain he has, and want so badly to be there for him, but he doesn't seem to want me too. Now he's not even reading my messages. Do I give up, or fight harder? I really want him to let me in, but I'm trying to respect that everyone grows at different times. I just want him to be okay. 😩😣💔😥
