I thought this was the official trailer for this movie until I came down to the comments section and found out it was privately made by you, Opia. Simply awesome job! I had never heard of this movie until it popped up in my recommended section as short clips of particular scenes. I watched about 3 of those to get a better feeling whether I wanted to watch the entire movie. Then your video came up and it made me really want to watch this movie - your editing was that good! I only hope the movie is as good as your editing.

I love the part where she steals her dying mother's medicine, and then she loses her virginity to an adult who gave her drugs and alcohol. Such a great role model for little girls. So empowered when she couldn't beat the champion until the men she slept with helped her.

Good choice of music from the era. Chess was almost the ruin of me. I was obsessed with it, and the rest of my life was falling apart. I bailed out at the last moment, never looked back, and got the rest of my life together. Others haven't been so lucky. Paul Morphy and Sultan Khan both felt that chess was not a good thing to spend too much of one's limited time and opportunities in this life on.
