Beth and Karrise Eden are the closest to Janis in my book. Beth is on fire here! Would love to watch her duet this with John Farnham!!!!!

A little fun fact. The lead guitarist is Tim Pierce. He has played on 100s /1000s of songs as a session musician and actually did the solo work for Bon Jovi's first hit "Runaway" around 40 years ago. He is beyond incredible on guitar.

She’s always been a soulful singer with great distortion in her voice… But I didn’t know that she can rock out like that. I’ve never seen her go quite this hard.

That's because you ain't seen nothing yet...Early on she was much more of a Rocker (and blues rock)-strap-in: (1999) OMG, go directly to the 4:00 minute mark: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qWGvnHV7hdBle68 (2004) kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYauiYNtl6aab6M (2005) kzbin.info/www/bejne/oYnGf5mMmqxri8U (2005) kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWjKqaymZbOZjLM (2006) kzbin.info/www/bejne/mXmugnusqLB2g68 (2007) kzbin.info/www/bejne/jKOuqYmEiNion5I (2011) kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWG4iJR8gLyWd7c (2012) kzbin.info/www/bejne/oobEpqdoopmMl6s

Next time she's anywhere near your location, take the time to check her out. We caught her show in San Antonio, and she was SMOKIN' !! She performed for a couple of hours, and shared some personal stories and such. My main take-away was... don't piss her off or she'll either plot to kill you or write a song! Quite a woman.

Not just you. This video (namely the 1st video you tried to play) was released without audio. Legal reasons maybe? Someone somewhere meshed lyrics to the visual for our pleasure 🎤 🎶 💃

Oooh you naughty naughty boy.....who sync the video with the audio? Even Beth Hart did not get the licence to do that on her official channel. If the Led Zeppelin corporate people find out about this they could give you trouble....LZ are notorious for blocking their stuff to KZbin uploaders. Can you even imagine that the great Beth Hart wasn't given the permission by them. LOL
@ThatSingerReactions2 жыл бұрын
I have no idea who did that nor that they ain't have permission lol

Yeah, I just think it's the 'embarrassment factor' that Beth Hart can do Zeppelin better than Zeppelin does Zeppelin....

Hey TSR, finally revisiting Beth...and, as far as I know, you are the first reactor to do the 'Black Dog' video. For reasons unclear, she released the video without audio. A fan uploaded a synchronized version with audio a few minutes later so the one you screened was not on her website. No, she never did this live--you might have seen "Whole Lotta Love" which is the only Zeppelin song she's ever done before this album. Some suggestions--that you haven't done--for more BETH. Here are 15 top shelf performances from just 3 concerts in 2004, 2013, and 2018: From the Royal Albert Hall concert in London in 2018, try the following: 1) “Caught Out in The Rain” (about an unhealthy relationship with a dangerous man): kzbin.info/www/bejne/oqvHe5ltfdanqs0 2) “Sister Heroine” (about losing an older sister to AIDS): kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4WakI2GfqaieZY 3) “Baddest Blues” (inspired by Billie Holiday & her mom): kzbin.info/www/bejne/nnuwnGBvebmYZ9E 4) ‘Leave The Light On” (about her turbulent childhood): kzbin.info/www/bejne/e4XNaZ6Og6anq6c From the ‘Live in Amsterdam’ concert with Joe Bonamassa in 2013: 1) “I Love You More Than You’ll Ever Know” - kzbin.info/www/bejne/mIC0YWqci7t3gLM 2) “Close to My Fire”- kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5zQnmiMjdl_n5I 3) “Something’s Got a Hold on Me” - kzbin.info/www/bejne/mqq0dWiartSSbLc 4) “Your Heart is Black as Night”- kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z36of2qZlreDqdk 5) Nutbush City Limits” - kzbin.info/www/bejne/nWrXXqaqg7achtU From the ‘Live at Paradiso’ concert in 2004: 1) “Mama”- (Beth alone at piano) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/h3zChZ17aZtkfNE 2) “Whole Lotta Love” (Zeppelin cover) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/oobEpqdoopmMl6s 3) “Guilty” (Beth w/ guitar; Randy Newman cover) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/qpa5XqZneZiLhdE 4) “Lay Your Hands on Me” (Beth on guitar) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/mWebioSofrFnp5I 5) “Broken & Ugly” - kzbin.info/www/bejne/eZzYpJ2KatypoKM 6) “Get Your Shit Together” - kzbin.info/www/bejne/sIKrf2mXibSYmq8

She is definitely being Beth on rock and roll songs. That's her wheelhouse. The Blues singing came later. She's great at both.
