I recently stumbled on this video after listening to Beth almost daily and attending several of her live concerts over the past 10 years. It may be the only really joyous song in her entire songbook. But just like all her songs, the real Beth Hart is there to see and feel. Even the big, glitzy production (which is very nicely done) cannot overpower her. Number one on my bucket list... done..Finally saw Beth LIVE!. In the US this year. What an awesome, strong, soulful performance! Been a long wait since I first saw her on the Letterman show October 6 , 1999. Went out and bought Screaming for My supper the very next day. Then I researched what songs I had missed! WOW! How could it possibly be that so many people have never heard of her? I share her music everywhere I go. And I haven't missed a song since I first heard her... woke me out of a dead sleep chills up the spine. That voice! That power! That soul! . It gets better and better, and BETTER! I wish I could turn on the radio and hear her songs, here in the U.S. Playing over and over , like they play the songs of artists, that can't hold a candle to her talent. This is the very reason, CD button is all I hit in my car, hers!!!! I don't even need a radio....."Stand under my umbrella, brella, brella,brella!!" Seriously????? Geeze I would love to see her in person live performing, but I can't afford to go out of the country. If I could I would be at every one!!!
