Exactly, I've always thought the same thing (but I've never seen commentary about this). The both transmit the music, in it's essential form--him in the guitar and her in the voice. It's like they allow the music to be expressed through human form. They don't perform a song--they become the music.

I remember when you saw Beth and Joe for the first time when they performed I will take care of you . I was shocked that you didnt know either one of them , because they are both individually known as being amongst the best in the world and have been for some time .Beth has been voted top female blues singer in the world several times , and Joe Bonamassa has been one of the best ever since he started opening for BB KIng when he was only 12 years old . If you want to listen to one of the best guitar performances ever try anything from Joe from the red rocks amphitheatre . love your reaction keep it up ..

Really enjoyed your reactions to Beth Hart. There is no one like her. If you want see another side of her check out her performances of her own songs at Royal Albert Hall, 2018. “Leave The Light On”, Take It Easy On Me”, or “Caught Out In The Rain”. All three are highly emotional.

This entire concert is amazing, I listen to the CD all the time, and the live at Paradiso CD. I have not had the pleasure of seeing her live yet, but hope to someday. I understand she is in the best form on this tour and from what I have read she has not disappointed the fans yet. Love that you keep reacting to Beth.

I just saw Beth Hart on Star Search in 1993. Very young I think In her teens. Here is a link for you. I'd love to see your reaction but if you can't please listen off line because it's great. She also sang for Buddy Guy at the Kennedy Center Honors I'd rather go blind. Enjoy my friend.

Well, this is the one she wrote. As much she is able to channel emotions in cover songs, the ones she wrote are much more personal. Caught out in the rain (Belgrade live), Setting me free and Over you are all raw and very deep ballads, you should check them as well.

This show consists of covers except for this song. This is one of Beth's own and it stand shoulder to shoulder with all the great classics of this concert. I saw her at Lindsay's and third in Nashville a bit ago(small venue-couple of hundred folks maybe). Just her and her Piano. 2 and 1/2 hours of Musical Bliss. i have not felt that way at a live performance in a long time(Maybe seeing Pink Floyd play the dark side of the moon tour many moons ago). If you get a chance to see this woman live, take it. You will be glad you did.

Well, with respect to your last point, TSR just blew his chance for a front row seat, invited by Beth, because of a "friend"- I'm not sure there are any friends that friendly...I just caught her twice in this last US Tour--on fire as always!

Glad to see you're keeping up with your BH reactions...but you really ought to consider doing a BH Week (as there is easily 50 more performances as good or better than this). This performance of "Baddest Blues," from the 2013 Amsterdam concert and part of a 4 city/5 show mini-tour in northern Europe in support the 'Seesaw' album, is Beth's original music and lyrics. It's the only song from the concert that isn't a cover--that's why she's on the keys for this song. BTW, if that friend of yours was a true friend, he shoulda just gone with you to the Beth Hart concert...

I have watched your reactions from time to time and I can't understand why you show anger when you hear a strong performance You say you are going to throw something at the camera, or some other crazy response. I just don't get it. Most people don't respond that way to something they like.
