2024 one of the most beautiful songs in the world. To think that I discovered her in an episode of Charmed from the 2000s, which I was watching again last year. How is something like this possible? I dont ear never this song, before? I haven't answer. But it is a rare jewel, thank you Beth Orton, for creating this star, which radiates beauty and light after years.

I'm always surprised Beth didn't have a bigger or more prominent career after Daybreaker. It's a masterpiece. I know she's continued to write and record, but Daybreaker is so perfect that I would have thought she'd still be *huge*

Adam P absolutely agree. Lucky enough to see her live in Detroit many years ago. Her music remains my favorite

I'm sorry about ur brother. I thought of my daughter Nicole the first time I heard it today on a rerune of Charmed, I lost her 10 years ago this month.

she is so real. so great. beautiful spare version of a fabulous record. that her voice cracks a bit in the chorus is so soulful here.

Best Beth Orton song. Why doesn't she play this anymore? I've trawled KZbin and there are only two live performances of this song (including this one) that I can find, and they're both from the early 2000s.

This song destroys me. There's something about Beth's delivery of some extraordinarily poignant lyrics makes me just...weep.

great song, but she isn't really playing her guitar (which makes the concept "live" kind of silly)
@danielacalfapietro872711 ай бұрын
It's not like you said 13 years ago. She played the arpeggio, the other guitar played the chords. The guitars that were playing, therefore, are 2.
