There's no voice like Beth's..so strong, so potent, so graspy and melancholic..i'm writing this in 2023, one year after her new album "Weather Alive" was released and that's simply brilliant..after almost 3 decades of making music today, is relevant touching, deep and most of all her nostalgic magic touch it's intact...i hope she still put out music in the years to come.

should explain this was a radio session that was video-ed and a small fraction of the performance was shown on a now defunct music channel which i was working on at the time. I kept my own edit of the performance (different to the one broadcast) but only put this on YT last November.

I can't think of the right words... "Stunning", is about the best I can do. I'm ashamed to say that I had not heard of Beth Orton until a couple of weeks ago. Now I'm a bit disappointed that I've missed out on about 20 years of awesome music! I've been trying to make up for lost time by buying up all her music and watching live performances on YT! I thought "Stolen Car" was my favourite song, but this one has so much emotion behind it! I really hope that she does some more shows in the UK next year! If there's just one thing that I could possibly mark Beth down on is that she bears a striking resemblance to the young lady I split up with only about 2 months ago...

I love this song!!! but I heve a problem. My first language is spanish, and I'm not able to understand completely the poetic nor metaphores in this song. May somebody could tell why it is seems to be so intense and deep? What is the sense in general?.
