I quite believe the song was written specifically for them, or they were created over the song idek, but it fits them so well it's actually crazy and the tension between them... this is perfect and they're perfect and I love you endlessly for this edit. ...and the idea that townes is bi for beth and they get together eventually still lives rent free in my mind. but even without that, we can all agree that they have a deep connection (platonic or not) and respect for each other and that scene of townes waking her up with coffee? peak softness.

I may have found my favourite edit of these two yet. Thanks for hitting me right in the feels. I keep telling myself not to ship them because of reasons but honestly I can't help it. While I like her with Benny (and Harry tbh) I don't see the same connection with anyone else but Townes. That being said, I am fine with their friendship as well as they are on the screen. Having a connection doesn't necessarily mean a romantic one. (Whispers to my inner self: *whatever floats your boat* )
