I started using my heat Gun on the back of the vinyl after i burnish the transfer tape on it and then is transfers like butter, no more struggle with the smart vinyl.Best hack I have come across in a long time. You should give it a try

I love your videos….I think I’ve watched most all of them….this one was wonderful! I’m glad to know I’m not the only one with failures. I think everything I attempted for the first several projects were all failures! I finally had success with coasters and one thing I noticed that was different was that I put the sublimation paper on top and the coasters on the bottom when I pressed them. I used a heat press so there should have been even pressure so that might be a difference too. I loved all of your projects in this video…you make it all look so easy when I know you have put in hours of work before the videos begin. Thank you! You are appreciated!

Awww Beth... Maybe cut a circle ⅛ bigger than the coaster, then place them close to each other in the center of your regular pink heat press, cover and try it that way. If it happens again then I have no clue 🤷 . But maybe 🤔 that will work 🤔 ?

Well I learned I was doing coasters the wrong way. I always put the sublimation printed side down on the coasters. The heat press on top the paper. They have always turned out. So I am sure you are right about the way they go. They still look pretty just like everything else you do. Thanks for all the great videos.

It depends on what coaster blank you use, some are face down and some are face up so you may have been doing it correctly for the blank you were using!

With the ceramic coasters, I have had the same problems. I started adding more pressure, and it solved the issue for me. I also use the Easy Press 9x9.

I love that you left in the video about the sublimation coasters as I had several issues as well, on the third attempt with mine I did the coaster individual and put strong pressure on the heat press and it worked. Enjoyed this video. I was actually working on a project that wasn't working as I had envisioned it. I watched as you re-examined your sign and made changes so I did the same thing even though I really didn't want to take the time to do it and it turned out much better. I do love fall decorating! The porch signs I have made are also two sided. One is summer and Halloween and one is Thanksgiving and Christmas. I just flip them around when the season changes. :)

All these fall crafts are SO cute. I can’t choose which one I like best. This video was so inspirational. I can’t wait to start my fall crafting. I made a set of coasters with infusible ink and I had the same problem you encountered. I thought it was because I used the heat press on all four at once. I thought I would try one at a time, but since you said you have previously pressed all four at once successfully, I am not sure that will work either. It could be that pressing all 4 at one time they are not getting even pressing time & pressure. If there is a slight difference in height anywhere, that will happen.

I prefer smart glitter vinyl than regular smart vinyl. I think the regular smart vinyl is difficult to use. I really like how you changed the Fall sign. It’s you for sure.
