Another lovely video! Thanks, Bethany 🙂. As I watched, I realized I haven’t made a sign before. I’ve been designing my week 1 & 2 items & hope to get those done soon to post to IG. The tips in this one are great for 1st time Cricut crafters & great reminders for us who have some experience. Hoping one of your new challenge videos will include some of the newer /improved features of CDS like combine options & slicing. Despite many YT videos out there, with the way you teach Cricut steps, I’m sure we’ll all benefit from learning about these from you specifically 😊.

Bethany, you could use this design to show your viewers how to move the letters in each word closer to each other. Like how the word is the letters are close, the words this and us can be the same way by unwelding and unattaching each word and moving letter by letter one at a time. It’s a more advanced learning process of cricut, but so easy to learn.

I recently made wood signs for my sister's wedding. I used htv and it was a game changer! It was much easier than adhesive vinyl. Give it a try if you haven't. It gives a nice finish!

Weeding.....I have a love hate with it. iron on and oracle are the best for me. Smart vinyl......ugh! so hard for me to transfer it from the carrier sheet to the transfer sheet!

I need to practice with adhesive vinyl. I get frustrated because I always get some part of the design stuck as I am pulling the large negative space. I would suggest to use iron on for big designs like this, in my opinion. It's sooo much easier to weed iron on.

Yes, I have many tutorial on wood signs with iron on! Sometimes it just about learning the right tips and tricks to make large signs like this much easier! It’s good to know adhesive vinyl too, since it’s much quicker and doesn’t require heat!

I just started doing "God gave me you." out of Oracle 651, and just couldn't get to weed out properly .... as happened to you on your LIVE video a while back. So I decided to do it with "Iron on" on wood. It turned out really good. I'm still not sure how to send you a "# message/picture", but when I figure it out I will. Maybeon the next video you could give us a little more help on how to do #'s.

When I weed I use my knife before I begin and cut lines down so my weeding sections are a little smaller to deal with, having a huge glob in my hand is too easy for it to slip and stick to a letter or image and cause me to have to redo.
