She singles out unborn children, but incarceration affects born children as well if their mother goes to jail. A parent’s actions don’t only affect the parent, unfortunately. Incarcerated parents probably aren’t that great though, so the kids probably aren’t missing out too much imo

I was born in prison cell If you understood the horrible conditions and utter lack of prenatal care received. I shouldn't have been born in a prison cell with my mother doped up and at times during her pregnancy being restrained.

Yes, her actions impacted me.but society's condemnation has impacted me further along with the penal system.

Having a caregiver is not unique… MOST kids with a working mum will have a caregiver….

Let's be real here. There are DISTINCT differences with having a working mother/caregiver versus experiencing so much involved with the so-called penal system with a care giver. I have first hand experience.
