I have been an hospice volunteer for 11 years. It is a huge honor. I have so much respect our local Hospice of East Texas.

Massive respect to you too. It takes a certain, special type to volunteer at a hospice. Thanks for being a wonderful human! 🩷

Watching this program gave me a different outlook on hospice care.. I thought at one time it was cruel and unusual punishment Toward the end… This beautiful place is nothing like is nothing like taking your last breath in a hospital…😢

I’m a hospice nurse practitioner. Hard to do. Sometimes, many times, I sit alone and cry and cry. At this point I need to and probably will, take an extended leave. I just am broken right now. I just want to help everyone.

My mother spent her last 3 weeks in Hospice. She was cared for, loved, cheered and supported through the attentions of the very special staff surrounding her. Please know that the sacrifices, and services, of people like yourself are more valued than you can possibly know. Take your rest, your break, and r & r., and enjoy yourself.

Oh man I can so relate. I was a hospice nurse for 4 years until I emotionally had to stop. I am such a huge advocate of hospice , but I cared so deeply and loved my family's so much it took a toll for sure.

If you’re a Christian hospice nurse who’s allowed to give out the Gospel of God, you could tell your patients that they can go to Heaven if they believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior.

Look after yourself xx so you can bounce back. Even just taking 2-3 weeks away can really help.

Beautiful video! I had the privilege of working in palliative care for 25 years in Ottawa. I also had the honour of meeting Kasia Seydegart in Ottawa many years ago when her mother was not well. She was a strong advocate for her mother and women in general. Thanks for this ❤
