I had the verse of this song on my heart after going through a tough life situation but what caught my attention is the fact that the chorus is praise. It's not reinforcing some victory of having God's wisdom and vision as the verse suggests. The victory *is* the praise in advance and despite the circumstance. This postures our heart in the right place when we need vision and wisdom from God. He's sovereign, good, and sufficient in every way. We can rest in *only* that. Hallelujah, our God reigns!

A friend of mine referred me to that scripture, "His promises are yes and amen" when i was writing exams in 2017. It was a hard year. The exams were not easy. After each paper I came out so happy saying God's promises are yes and amen despite how I had wrote. My friends who had just written the same paper thought I was a little crazy lol. God made it happen for me and I passed for the first time in my life without a rewrite. Since that day I always write "Gods promises are yes and Amen" on the front page of each exam.

He saved her from an emotionally abusive household, He provided a way for me to finish 2 years of school in 3 months so we could get married, He provided us a job in astonishing speed, provided us an apartment which wasn't available, He has blessed us financially so that we can give back, He has protected us through covid and the forced vaccinations for me, and He has given us a calling to go and plant a church in Japan.
