I have a prayer request. I lost my dad last year when I was in my final year of med school. Losing my dad crushed me to the core and I was not able to study anything for my final exams. But I wrote it knowing that God will help me. Results came out and I failed in my exams and I have to reappear my exams within a few months. Anyone who says hillsong is a false prophet, should watch their tongue. If you have never been in a room with these people, I have twice, will never understand how much the Holy Spirit is present. You have 2,000 people singing in one accord to JESUS. It is the most powerful thing I have ever experienced. Watching this is close, you get a sense of the power. About 16 years ago after having not stepped foot in a church for several years, I attended a church just so my daughter at the time (I now have 3 children) could learn some of the morals that I learned growing up in the Catholic Church. I didn't believe in Christianity at the time, but I believed in much of what the church taught about treating others. I walked into the sanctuary as they were singing this song (Breathe) and within about 10 feet I felt like crying. It freaked me out. I had never heard this song before, the words meant nothing to me at the time, but yet I had this overwhelming emotional response. God was speaking to my heart and I didn't know it. It still took me a while, but eventually he got my heart and he has never let go. I love him more than life itself. He has carried me through so much in life. This song will always hold a special place in my heart. I pray that all those who do not know Jesus and the love he has for us would be drawn in like I was. I also like Hillsong Music very much and they are all anointed. However, I must admit that the live version (circa 2000) by Christy Nockels still cannot be matched in my mind.

It is a concert. There can be planned concerts in churches & in stadiums (like in Miami - WOW!) These wonderful, talented people are giving concerts all over the world to praise God, let others feel the presence of God if they haven't been aware of it, and encourage the audience to participate. Music, and it's effect on worshipers, was a major part of the plan for this church from the beginning. That's why the lyrics are included in so many videos and often visible for the audience (yes, I've said that word twice now) to see so they can sing too. If you break the lyrics down, they are simple words beautifully arranged so most people can remember them. The music is phenomenal and not by chance. Combine the two, and it's almost overwhelming.

I never thought I would say this: Before this song started I felt so miserable and broken but while listening to this I felt some sort of relief and stress falling down the ground. Which I truly thought was impossible at this point. And a little piece of my confidence came back for a moment. I am forever grateful to have God in my life, and I just wanted to share this and say that everyone can overcome anxiety, stress, depression or other heavy stuff in life. Man I was battling in my body out of nowhere once I got off work. I was aching all over and I had a headache for two days that wouldn’t go away. i miss listening to this song so much 😢 and also praying. i forgot how close i was with God. i thought the world could give me happiness that i wanted but it couldn’t. only God can give me that. it’s kinda hard to be a believer too especially a lot of my close friends are non believer and think God doesn’t exist. but either way i should just pursue Him and He will lead the way for me.

Hi Allison please remember the message of the gospel is nonsense to those who are perishing but to you & I its a revelation of Gods favour & love to us so NEVER EVER allow yourself to be swayed away from Christ. Change your friends if you must but do not forsake Christ because of other people. Make certain that your unbelieving friends do not dim or put out the light of God in your life just because you're afraid to be without friends. Remember Jesus said " they persecuted me & rest assured they will persecute you too". You will never walk with Christ Jesus without being persecuted for it its a cross we bear as Christians for being followers of Christ but you belong not to this world but you report to the heavenly realm, you report to the KING OF KINGS, LORDS OF LORDS, you report to the GREAT I AM.

I cry every time I hear this song. I just cried again. This song brings me deeper into prayer and closer to Him. I always go back to this song. This is a very exhausting life we live! It gets so tiring! It’s just hard sometimes and it seems like all that is in the world is hatred and negativity. But then I get alone with myself and I hear this song! I just break down and cry! And that’s ok. If we don’t cry out to Him then The rocks will cry out! I fall into His arms and there’s no other place I would rather be!

Reading through the so many comments I tear up because I can't just hold back my tears. I realise how much God is beautiful in the lives of His people. How kind and merciful He really is. Thank you to every one of you who take their time to share their life stories and experiences with Jesus boldly on such platforms. It's helpful and encouraging. You'll never know which soul you touch through your shared stories or praises of Jesus. What you people are portraying and doing here is love. I don't know how you can call this but I call it love. You go through the comments and read through no matter how long the comment is, you take your time and just you just do that and from there encourage, uplift and give hope again. If it's a testimony about the goodness of God, you celebrate with the person testifying. It's encouraging. This is a true community of the children of God. After I lost my last surviving parent, things changed so much for me. I have had my own rough rides in this life, made many mistakes, felt alone but still kept walking with my Saviour. Where else would I go from His presence? Where else would I look to? Staying and remaining in Him was the right thing to do for my own good. Lately, it has been hard to pray, hard to just do what I am supposed to do. The past two months, I started working extra hard for my Non-for Profit Organization which helps the orphans and exploited children. I've been crying out to God for so many things. just yesterday, I launched a T-shirt of hope fundraising campaign to raise money to buy food and medical hygiene supplies which a common man in my village cannot afford. It is intended to help my children and the community stay safe and maintain hygiene during this trying lockdown moment of the Coronavirus Covid-19 which as children of God believe is passing in Jesus mighty living name. Today after listening to this song and reading through the wonderful encouraging comments, I feel so uplifted and encouraged. Blessings to you all. Continue in the same love. It's so helpful.
