My mommy passed away when I was 9. I am 12 almost 13. My mom was a big follower in Christ, and I am trying to follow her footsteps. My parents divorced when I was 5 and my dad stopped being a Christian then, when my mom passed, my brother stopped and my step-mom and step-brother don't even believe. Growing up being the only Christian in the household is hard, especially when you have parents mocking you for your beliefs. I remember my mom would always pray with my brother and I, and when I pray, I always ask God to forgive my mom and I for the bad times we had together. I know my guardian angel is watching over me. My Papa Lear- my mom's dad- passed away January 19th this year from Alzheimer's. I know he is watching over me as well. I try to live every day the way my mom would want me to. At times, I feel like I can't even have a simple conversation without her. Please pray for me to stay strong and my family to become Christians. Today, I am no longer a slave to fear, I am a Child of God!

I was molested by my own cousin at age 8. I was so confused and lost. I couldn't understand how or why someone would do that to me. I grew up hating men, I couldn't be around them without having an anxiety attack. I was a broken girl. I felt worthless and ashamed of something my cousin did to me. I had nightmares almost every night about my cousin doing things to me, and this affected me in such a scary way. In my first 2 years of high school I suffered from depression because of my social anxiety. I was so scared to talk to anyone because I thought they were all gonna hurt me. I then found God. He made me feel peace, joy, happiness. I was soooo broken and he picked up all the pieces (even the little tiny ones) and put them back together. He made me new. I am new. I am not that sad scared girl anymore. I'm no longer a slave to fear, I am a child of God.

Nearly 11 years i was a believer! I did what everyone did, go to church, pray, sing and even played music instruments and led worship in the church. I was a "good" christian. To be brutally honest it was only 5 years ago i started to know what it meant to be in Christ. At the lowest point of my life one morning i was on my bed, suddenly the room started to fill with an unusual presence that started to make me cry and weep with such conviction of love. Christ appeared to me, He said ".. It's I who loved you first..". I cried and cried and before He left He gave me something. I was on my knees and an incredible and unexplainable peace came upon. I have never felt anything like it before. I cried even louder and i asked God "What is this, it's so unusual?" He answered " it's MY peace, not of this world". He left. These 5 years i have been devoting myself reading the scriptures and He has even asked me to pioneer a small work. Christ is beyond christian duties. I was crying late-night praying to God for forgiveness.... I was listening this song and crying and I have seen a beautiful image that I broke many ties and chains that hold me back from God and I ran towards jesus. He was standing on top of sky and there were ladders . I ran and jump towards him. He was waiting there for me opening his hands wide to hug me.... I reached him and hugged and cried. He was also crying with me .... I did many wrongs , I was a sinner , even as a pastors daughter i forgot him and moved for worldly pleasures.... But the battle is over. I was so bad with public speaking. I have taken courses and therapies but it didn't helped me. I've being working for 9 years and everyone knows about my weakness. This has always being my prayer point also since I'm a mom, I was so scared that my kids might turned out like me. I know how hard it is. I listened to this song in January 2024 and it became my morning anthem. This song completely changed my life. I guess God directed me here. My boss and colleagues are surprised of the sudden changes. I am writing today because I had an 8 hrs conference today and my participation was on another level. Before I start talking, I remind myself that I'm no longer a slave to fear. Thanks to all of you. Your song has done what even therapies could not do in 3 years. I've been going to therapy for my mental health off and on for 14 years now. I've been going consecutively for the past 10 years now. My therapist who I had about 3 years ago (moved to a different practice) told me to listen to this song. She was a strong Christian woman who knew I have been agnostic who blamed God for putting me through the battles I went through. I have seen at least 5-6 therapists in the last 14 years. That therapist was AND still is my favorite therapist. If I had a vehicle, I would make the 45-60 minute trip just to see her every 2 weeks or so. I'm glad I listened to her when she told me to listen to this song. I've lived by it ever since. I went from being Atheist to being Agnostic. I quit having fear and keeping my mouth shut about everything. I stand taller after listening to this song on repeat for awhile. I have more confidence in myself. I even stop being angry at everything and everyone.

He called me to pastoral ministry, sent me to Bible school, and I have been involved in ministry ever since. What he did for me He can do for anyone. He isn't looking for perfect people. He likes imperfect souls who desperately hunger for Him. He isn't looking for your ability. (He supplies that.) He is looking for your availability.

Jesus has started checking out the things on my hallelujah journal. My US visa was approved yesterday. Scholarship for my master's. Today, a relative offered to pay for my flight ticket to the US of A!!!!!! On the day of my interview, I placed my passport on the floor and danced around it to this song. Everyone before me, around 15-20 persons, were denied visas. When it was my turn, Grace sorted it! Jesus is heavily dependable!!!!
