I have always loved Bethenny. What you see is what you get. She tells the truth as she sees it and she usually is right. Yes, she can be snarky but Lu, Rsmona, and Sonia were terrible and then Jill decided if she was terrible to Bethenny it would improve the drama and she would get ratings. And do not forget the Bethenny clause. She did not have Skinny Girl yet, she was doing Bethenny Bakes but she said Bravo could not have a part of any business she started. She scratched that from her contract with them. Bravo was getting a perventage of the others' businesses. I am so sorry Dennis died, she just cannot win in the relationship department, her up bringing was bad but she did see both sides of life. The first marriage did not work. the first Jason was a jerk, the second Jason (Hoppy) is a horrid jerk, he made sure his name was on that Tribeca appartment and then she had to move out, he refused. He wanted and I am sure got, many of her millions and now wants to make her life miserable. What she did for Puerto Rico was just amazing.She and Jose Andres were the first ones there to help.She knows how to organize She saw a disaster and jumped with both feet and both arms plus her brain to help . She can walk among kings and the impoverished with the same footsteps and kindnrss.q The first year she was on RHONY the others were terrible to her. Bravo did not have the budget to spend on the trips, they had to pay their own way. She cooked for the others, they did not lower themselves to cook. Did Ramona or Lu go to Puerto Rico to deliver stuff they had gathered? Did they go help deliver? Did they gather stuff? I think maybe part of Carole"s problem with Bethenny is she and Adam broke up and Bethenny had Dennis. But Carol has had her share of loses too, Tony then JFK, Jr and his wife, who was her BFF. John and Tony were very close. I read Carole's book about her life with Tony. I could not get into her second book, it is fiction. I bought it to read.

I have loved watching B evolve from season one until now. She has so much more confidence...that girl MADE IT. She took a reality show that a lot of people ridiculed and used it as a platform to build an empire. Most of the women do the opposite...they want to be famous and THEN decide to promote some BS handbag line or skincare line. B is the real thing. Plus I’m fluent in snark and sarcasm so she makes me laugh...the show sucked without her. I had a difficult childhood so I also relate to that. I am so glad she has Bryn; my son made my childhood worth it.

It took me a long time to really warm up to Bethany but I'm there. Interviews like this are definitely a factor in earning my respect but what really put her on my list of people I believe to be real and not just a personality "put on" for tv, is what she did and continues to do for the people of Puerto Rico. She will have my respect forever for that. And also, I really truly like her now! She's rather inspirational in the way she has dealt with adversity and keeps on going.

I think a lot of the messiness from her on the show comes from knowing what the producers wants and giving it to them ten fold. Reality tv is never indicative of who a person really is as a person. I've warmed up to her, still not her biggest fan, but I do enjoy her wit. It makes RHONY so much more funny to watch.

Bethenny took Carole on various holidays after their first season together but when the dynamic changed with Tinsley on the show Bethenny true mean girl came out and that's not always captured on TV. Carole went on holiday with Tinsley after the show was wrapped so Bethenny went around creating a negative narrative about Carole . But NYC is a small place a lot of people have respect for Carole so if you bitch about her and mainly lies, they'll come back to you in a broken friendship.

Bethenny wears her emotions on her sleeve & she’s got a lot of deep rooted issues that’ve been surfacing throughout her 10 seasons. She’s got trust issues & isn’t going to let anyone in easily. But she’s been working through it all & has tremendous pressure in many facets of her life; add to that, being followed by cameras. It’s a lot. You can tell she has a good heart & wants to do the right thing but she lashes out easily & now cries a lot showing how vulnerable she is. She’s always honest & certainly opinionated but at the same time you know what you’re getting; always authentic. If she could learn how to contain herself a bit & count to 10 before speaking she’d get a lot farther; like she needs to “take a Xanax” when filming😂
