Bethenny is one of those people who's hyper analytical and perceptive - it's easy for it to come off judgmental, but I actually find that ability of hers fascinating. She's rarely wrong about her analyses of others and she' knows it. Unfortunately she went too far with psychoanalyzing Carole, it backfired, and cost her a friendship. It's really interesting how someone so perceptive doesn't necessarily have the insight to to analyze their own behavior, and that tends to be how she gets in these dramas with people.

Ha! That is actually the best way to describe her interpersonal communication skills because with her, you will NEVER win. She catastrophes everything, she will not consider other people’s perspective as having merit unless it aligns with hers. She is cunning and passive-aggressive. She used to be funny and witty then went off the rails with negativity after Season 1. Her beef wit Carol stems from abandonment issues cause Carol had a lot going on Bethany felt her pulling away and then Carol was vacationing with Tinsley and the guys. I feel like Bethenny is the kind of friend to dump all their trauma on you and it makes you feel exhausted after seeing them. I don't think she's aware of it either, but she's constantly negative. Even her jokes, regardless if they're about others or herself, are depracating. It can be a lot. I can see why maybe Carole needed a break or to set up boundaries to keep things light and I think that made Bethenny anxious and insecure about their relationship. She would throw jabs at Carole, like saying she only cares about selfies or whatever; and then cry when Carole would tell her she's wrong or not respond. It's like she sabotages her relationships without realizing that it's her behavior that pushes people away. They had that whole anxious/avoidant attachment style relationship going on.

There's something cowardly about the way Carole has handled this. Be honest about what your deal is! I think Bethenny would be better if Carole would just be honest with her. Bethenny has a sad history of family and friends who have treated her badly. She really needs that ride or die friend. I think she thought Carole was that person, but when it got too intense Carole bailed. Carole as much as said that herself. This isn't about Adam or charity or money. It's all about Bethenny feeling like her friend left her. Someone else left her. Bethenny is intense, but she's not complicated at all. She's quite clear about what her issues are and what she needs. They were already having trouble when she talked about Adam to C. C always acts like she is so cool. The whole attitude she had about dating Adam was insane. They were not living together they were just "shacking up". C is so stupid. She only wanted to date Adam to look cool because he was so much younger. He really wasn't that hot. She just wanted to look cool by dating a younger guy and not have to be real about a relationship because of his age. Then they were just friends with benefits but she said in one of her interviews that he better not date anyone one else or she would have nothing more to do with him. She also made a point out of letting everyone know he was trying to woo her back. Then there was the whole red scarf guy. She really made a fool out of herself saying he wasn't interested in B even though it was clear he came to the dating event to see B. Carol sucks!

Here is my problem with Carole, every time she discusses Bethenny or what she’s done for Bethenny she ALWAYS throws money into it. I gave this amount to her charity, I gave her $300 worth of flowers, it’s just about how she thinks money equates her loyalty or her friendship and that’s not friendship. Bethenny is like I need you and Carole’s response is always “well I did this for you”, she has zero emotional attachment and I think Bethenny came to the realization of oh this is who you are, I didn’t know. Bethenny realized Carole wasn’t who she thought she was and slowly backed out of the relationship but Carole kept taking swipes at Bethenny like you are too needy but the fact was no honey you are just a cold hearted person and that’s not who Bethenny wants for a friend. Bethenny said Carole changed and I think the audience saw she didn’t change as much as she stopped pretending to be someone she wasn’t. She got tired of trying to pretend to be human and that’s fine but just don’t be nasty about it, just go away. I think the more Carole got called out the more vindictive she got. Bethenny pointing out that Adam’s motives weren’t good really pissed Carole off and that’s what opened the flood gates and then he dumped Carole and that made her even more bitter and the entire she just kept repeating oh this doesn’t bother me well honey clearly it bothered you.

Carol has always loathed The Countess and loved dating her chef knowing it ticked her off, Carol is the most petty of the group along with Ramona. What Carol did in all seasons was criticize Luann non-stop. She loved how Luann was arrested and she is the type of woman who constantly compares herself to others I think and she could never be a Countess or speak over 3 different languages like Luann she loved how Bethanny was irritated by Luann and I think fueled it which extended to the big blow out in the Bezerkshires. Bethany going through a hell of a divorce was worked up I think and Carol as her friend then just sat back and watched it all with popcorn. Carol never had anyone's back and she has displayed historically hating women and conniving to pin women against women, she hates Sonja for her free spirited non-chelan attitude and her sexiness. Well Carol latched on to Bethanny because she loved how Bethenny wasn't a fan of The Countess. She she is friends with Tinsley because it was her way out from Bethany, it just happened to be Tinsley and I think it's not an authentic friendship. Anyways team Bethany all the way she has always come across straight and not conniving or manipulative which is why people love her!

She supports herself well.She was also helping her friends. A book party for one friend (about chronic pain management)..........so mean.Then she had the gall to stay with a newly widowed friend. I like Bethenny but I definitely couldn't be friends with her. Bethenny seems like she's very much into what she is doing and that it is, either get with it or leave. But I also probably couldn't be friends with Carole either. But I will say the way Bethenny treated Sonja this season was great. More focus should be placed on whatever the f Dorinda was on this season lol.

There was definitely a change in Carole throughout the seasons, she was really chill at the start and I liked her back then but she got really superficial and catty towards the end, it’s a shame. I feel like Bethenny has always been more genuine, she has dealt with an unreal amount of trauma and her philanthropic work is incredibly admirable.
