As a black female entrepreneur approaching my second year of business - this is very uplifting to watch. SUCH A POWERFUL docuseries! It shows that business ownership isn't just one size fits all; all these women were very different with different businesses but each enriched their community. Thanks for this content BET!

@@athaliyahbaytjudas9334 I hear you! I called myself self employed when I worked for myself (my first year I made a little over 80k, with only 1 location, and only 1 employee) ❤. Thankfully we've grown in the last few years prior to covid😁 and survived covid. Thank you for explaining your perspective!

Unpopular opinion: I think we need more black business supporters, customers and investors, rather than more businesses, so to speak. It seems like black people always want THEIR OWN instead of helping their community by supporting the black businesses already there. We need to change that mentality. Every other race helps their own and builds up from there. Let's not compete with each other.

And/or we can start more businesses in service/knowledge-based industries to support the black businesses that are already in existence and find real economic mobility at the same time 🙌🏾

Have you also tried T-Spring or another online t-shirt maker? If you have a KZbin channel, you can add a link to your T-shirt store, so you don’t have to worry about storing a physical product.

i have a friend and she's very creative, she makes dog clothes and door ornaments, and her stuff is very unique and u don't see anything like it in the market place. I wish i knew of how i could connect her w/someone that could help her sell on amazon or other places, she needs to be making money, any advice on what i can tell her? I hear that black women and starting up their own businesses is a big trend now and I"d love to see jump into it and share her creativity because I have never seen anything like it and I'm sure many will be interested, please help me to help her!
