My dad went to Medical School in the 1980s and lived in Bethesda for a few years, we walked around the town days ago as a matter of fact.

What did he think about how it is now compared to when he was last here? Was it incredibly different for him?

@@RickHartunian The old one/two/three/four brick facade buildings were the standard for Bethesda back in the day. Hotels like the Marriott (next to the Tastee Diner) did not exist back in the 1980s. He was surprised at the modern developments. That said, his old four apartment complex that he lived in was still there almost 40 years later!
