What you guys fail to realize is that when your game has fewer players you need to get more money out of each of them. Star Citizen has trailblazed this method. They have a $26,000 ship pack and single ships for as much as $2400. And their game is even more broken than Fallout 76. Whales are the only thing that matters. It's a panic move. If you cannot bring in new players and fixing the game will cost too much then just milk the people who're too addicted to say no. The second you see an online game go into "here's some cool items for you to buy, here's some pay to win mechanics" mode, then you KNOW that they've entered the stage where they need to get as much money as possible before it sinks. The thing is that outside of the asian market people almost always quit on mass when the end game gear or content becomes gated behind a paywall, and the developers knows this.

Geoff Rogers admittedly at this point a good half the fun with Bethesda games was the bugs. They were charming with Skyrim - then they rereleased Skyrim about a million times and never addressed half of the bugs. Hell, the best bugfixes are mods, and we’ve seen rather clearly what Bethesda makes without modders to finish their games. The only reason I’m even considering buying Starfield or TES6 is that I’m willing to give them exactly one more chance, and even thats going to be “is it just Space-Skyrim, cause fuck that”. I’m sure as shit not buying either at launch... that and I’m a console peasant, so I can’t just throw on a pirate hat (yet).

I thik early acces is good thing, devs get better feedback to fix more bugs and finish it faster and better.. but it must be told about early acces/beta, devs must work on that, they must react to feedback, updates must be free, if not it is scam-ish

I play factorio even they still work on that, getting feedback, I played minecraft since beta 1.5 and still testing some snapshots when they come, I never told I ever touched fallout 76 so you obviously dont understand my comment and ofending me for things I never did or whatewer when there is game that is in early acces and they admit it, if they are really working on it, why exactly it is so evil and worst thing ever to buy it, report bugs and enjoy it?
