Most SWAC bands do variations of step 2 drills so...

Yet there’s little to no variation in their drill. SU has charted several different step 2 patterns over the season. Even TXSU executed a step 1 drill a few weeks back, not a common sight in the tradition style. I feel a high schooler could plug & play into BCU’s drill any given week. It’s too predictable, dare I say elementary. I just expect a little more design complexity and variety from a collegiate program. It’s undeniable that their sound is mature but visually, I’d rather watch paint dry.

All the crazy drilling distorts sound. But Swac band lovers can't see that. Which is why dancing and playing and moving and playing kills sound every time for them. At least a good sound Famu and Cookman kills all of Sawc at dancing and playing and moving and playing.

@@SirGeekzfamu does multiple picture drills (different ones every other show) bcu does a diamond 2 step and that’s it. I wouldn’t even group the two together

Did it cross your mind that that's how it's supposed to be played? No, you just wanna criticize and tell these folks how to play the music they took time to learn because you want it played a certain way.

I use to get excited to see BCU not so much now, in this show they come on the field sounding like a corps band, step 2 drill to slow and the end the show like a corps band.
