It only stands to reason that the person doing the work created easier ways to do it! Of course, enslaved Africans invented many devices and such for which they were denied patents.

I have to say Norfolk State and Bethune have the drums tuned very well. The tones are just very pleasant. Bass drums don't sound thin, doesn't get annoying.

I would like to start a movement of when we refer to Egypt at a time indigenous Nile Valley people founded it and ruled over it we stop referring to it a Egypt and use Kemet inside. Africans technically never ruled over Egypt (which is the loophole) they ruled over Kemet, Kemet was renamed Egypt by the Macedonian and Ptolemaic* (332-330 BCE) and that is when they renamed it. Then the Romans came in, then the Byzantine and the the Islamic people, and 5 ruined it.

This was put together really nice BCU. Earth Wind & Fire- In The Stone Cameo -Candy Heat Wave- Groove Line Roll Royce and remake Mary J Blige- I'm Going Down, and the mix at the end. People let's support the HBCU schools because these kids go through a lot to entertain us. So..no matter what jerseys we wear, band suits or what HBCU college we attend. We're all family. -SU Fan

Very entertaining video, lots of wonderful photos and information. The delivery is a thing but boring. I he mixes up Platonic relationships with Pederasty a socially acknowledged romantic relationship in ancientc Greek culture between on average an older male 30 and a younger male 13

It's sad to witness black youth entering an all black college and for them to find that, black doesn't matter, because they are treated the same way by some blacks as they'd expected to be treated by whites, and this is a serious issue because this let's us know that it's apparent that the parents of some blacks lacks ethical morality, therefore, they failed to rear their children in the right way, they have no regards for the other person, hates its own culture, have no sense of self respect or dignity, they would not mistreat anyone if they had an ounce of integrity within them, therefore, they are foolish people, blinded by self edification

Parents, be aware, although BUC Marching band is large and known as famous, there are some negligence, unfortunately, there are those whom entered into this program that were subjective to influences of drug abuse. Sadly, this has contributed to a loss of many youth that were potentially success stories, but because the leaders of the music program and other administrative personnel, MMB name was taken in vain and many potentially successful blacks, male and female were robbed of their future in society, because the drug abused induced by former band leaders and it's followers tainted others for life, while they may have moved on in life themselves, without turning their inner thoughts towards the many they've damaged, it's no thing to be proud of and have black children of their own who are subjected to the same fate they've induced unto others 😮
