@@mathewmcfool i like them the same because of the era I grew up in ..these were def jam 3rd quarter acts that I was always waiting for …prime DMX and ja were unstoppable gritty and relentless hit makers they both had strengths and weaknesses it all comes down to what I’m feeling like that day dmx 1st 3 albums are CLASSICS meanwhile ja was making literally some of the most catchy songs I have ever heard in my life rule 3:36 is probably the 1st album I paid for and then there was X the 2nd and is still my go to dmx album because of the memory and youth tied to both artist I can’t choose .. BUT if you’re talking LYRICALLY, DELIVERY, all around artist I’m choosing X up until a point because of those 1st 3 albums but 3:36 R.u.l.e and the mirror album are 🔥pain is love 🔥 sorry for the rant man I can’t say which is better because the more I think the harder it is to pick .. they’re in my core memories both

Good times, great music, but I gotta go with DMX, that "Slippin" song hit Pac levels, like "Keep Ya Head Up" Pac.
