How The First Lady of BMF Blew $500 Million | Blew A Bag - • How The First Lady of ...
How Soulja Boy Spends One Million Dollars | Blew A Bag - • How Soulja Boy Spends ...
Melle Mel went straight to the casino right when he got out the pen. He had no idea he'd hit the million dollar lotto and get rich overnight! He took the lump sum, which he says was the dumbest decision of his life. It was all down hill from there. Buying cars, strip clubs, chains, while also giving back to the neighborhood.
If you hit the lotto, how would you spend it all?

now lets get ready for some real math. if you took the lump sum at $1,000,000 and invested it and are able to get 10% returns a year and only spend $40,000 a year ($3,333 a month), in 10 years your wealth would grow to just over $2,000,000... once you reach that point live on $80,000 a year for 10 more years, another 10 years later and your wealth is around $4,000,000.... at this point you can spend basically whatever you want because you arent likely to outspend what you make on interest (unless you are trying).

@divaquana No need to jump on Blu. It's another point to add. I certainly did not make my comment from a victimized stance of "Oh, look at what BET is doing to us". It's was to point out that BET (EBT) ain't been about shit for almost 20 years, and here's another reminder. But yes, it is also an example of what not to be. Now, if we want to see some examples of Black people doing what they are supposed to do with money, checkout Daymond John, the creator of the FUBU Brand, or Robert F. Smith, who is currently ranked the wealthiest Black person in the United States, and one of the wealthiest in the World. Or Suzzane Shank, who is right up there with them. We got choices, and we don't have to let this bullshit network give us the choices.

If i won that, chose the $1300/wk, and live to be 70 yrs old thats over 3 million dollars...they probably split it up a similar way according to how many years they wanted to pay that $1300 /wk so he DEF made a bad decision lol

you also have to think of inflation, 1300 a week now may/may not have the same value in 10/20 years. it's like you loosing. taking the whole million and doing smart investments is actually a better deal.

samy sosa inflation has never been THAT extreme to where $5200 a month wouldn’t still be a lot of FREE money lol u can live bill free off half of that. $1300 in 1990 was still a lot of money in 2010. Face facts, most ppl who have the “give it to me now” mentality still be alive 20-40 yrs later wishing they had thought of their future.

Well I must say this young man has a good attitude a lot of times if you are not born into money or went to college for finances or have someone old school pull you to the side and tell you what to do then you are going to foolishly run through your money if you cannot apply common sense I personally work everyday semi middle class if I won LOTTO my Common Sense will kick in to say what can I do to sustain main thing buy a few units cash weather there bankrupt foreclosed or short sale then help a few keyword few people that were real and sincere in your life your church and go from there you owe nobody else anything so live your life in a wise and safe manner that's what I would do

Man, when will people realize 1 mil ain’t shit? Sure it’s more than you’ve ever had, but it’s not enough to ball out on for the rest of your life. Maybe just enough to let you be debt free, buy a modest house, a decent car and set some aside for retirement. You will still probably need to work.

If you open the right business and invest time and energy, eventually ,you probably wouldnt have to work. But ,you know some black people are lazy. They would rather put all their energy in to flossing. Lol
