I don't think her "career "is over in large part due to MTV and music videos were in heavy rotation back in the 90's,and the fact that "Harrison " was with interscope records her videos played often for multiple years (even though Mya never had a billboard #1 as a solo artist) even her song "fallen" she co executive produced with 1up entertainment in Baltimore, only topped billboard at 2 unconsecutive weeks at #51 with a little better showing on R&B billboard at #35 ,essentially creating a secondary brand "Mya" herself.When Mya got dropped by the major labels in 2007 going independent was the perfect ingredient,because there would be a global calling of show date request for the next 11 years ,but let's keep it 100,they want the 1998,2000,and 2007 mya catalog, now there are a few that request her New spins,but for the most part Myas world is ,love is like wo,take me there,fallen, moving on ,etc etc ,This is part of my theory why mya herself has never actually developed personally or developed a personal life ,almost like she can't break away from her past in which is so vital to her income.On the veganism, last time we checked ,mya wasn't vegan threw her 20's and I never heard anyone complain about her appearance or her health ,as a matter of fact the times in her life of her greatest musical achievements, were when she wasn't vegan.Yes she's put out "new" music inde over the years ,but that's basically to satisfy her FAN BASE which have followed her over the last 21 years ,unfortunately for those fans ,they grew up ,got married ,had kids and never noticed that they left Mya behind waiting on her next EP.The real Mike Wilson

But my boy interviewing had smh when he said "they don't make vegan chinese food"😄🤦🏾‍♂️ bruh... they make most of the vegan food in the Asian community! My best friend is full out vegan of almost 20 years, and he took me to a lot of vegan Chinese (and Thai) restaurants up here in Northern California. Unfortunately it was the veganism that had us fallout last year. But anyhow, I hope to meet her one day! But, I hope to be full vegan by that time.
