i don’t understand why people dont like being a roamer. i mean, its so much fun seeing a teammate getting a kill successfully due to your efforts. being a roamer means i am not confined to a single lane too much and i have absolutely love rendering the enemy powerless, allowing teammates to pluck their lives out one by one. and then being a roamer means that you also have a good amount of authority over initiating fights! As a roamer you are very dependant from your team... Yes it's fun if your teammates are good players and you managed to arrange a good team comp, but if you are in the weaker team there's not much you can do... Long story short, you can't carry as a roamer

If you're playing edith exp always try to soak up damage from minions / crab or even 1 hit tower until the minions arrive just to maintain your wrath bar, do this especially at 3 close to 4 so you could nuke enemy the moment you hit level 4. getting warrior boots + brute force (stacks) before pressing your ult makes you hit A LOT, especially with inspire + tank emblem tenacity

Edith converts all her defense to magic damage when she uses her ult. Basically, she becomes a squishy, so in the early game if your damage is enough, you can actually just kill her quickly instead of running away when she ults, assuming she doesn't kill you first. Late game she'll have hp items so that's not viable anymore.

It need to be ganked. Edith can kill 1v1 if enemy minion is not cleared. Remember the lifesteal from Edith is big enough to recover her HP.

My recent match was an intense match using Chou (this is my 9th use of him). I was the exp laner and what help carry us to win was our Kagura. The first minutes were pretty stressful because our mm and 2 non-retri fighters are pretty inexperienced. Our mage is the jungler, she was not toxic tho she was frustrated but I encouraged her and did my best to push and target our one threat, Badang. When you rank up to a higher level you will see ALMOST EVERY exp laner go gank the first turtle EVERY TIME IT SPAWNS even when it's on the gold lane side. You're not supposed to just 1v1. The early level 4 means you get a good shot at sabotaging, zoning the the enemy jungler off objectives and lowering the enemy jungler's HP, giving your jungler a very easy time at securing said objectives. Midgame is where you're strongest, where you either flank the backline and clean up team fights and punish overextension vs offensive teams and initiate teamfights with heavy AOE CC, Zoning tools and sometimes even insane burst potential. EXP is BARELY about just 1v1s. Those barely scrape the SURFACE of what playing EXP is all about. It's an easy role to "do well by getting an ok score" but it's a difficult role to master rotating, ganks and zoning, knowing when to proxy waves, opening map vision, engaging and cleaning. Sometimes the goal of an EXP laner is to make the enemy jungler's life so annoying to the point their grudge becomes PERSONAL. They will start ganking you more and focusing on killing YOU during teamfights should they lose their cool. It opens up alot of opportunities for you team on defense and does wonders on offense. If they 1v3 you because of that, just know your goldlaner and jungler are having the time of their lives. This is why if you main EXP it's easier to play with an ADC as a premade if possible. Run the opposite spectrum of attack as him. That means if they go magic like Kimmy, Natan, Lunox or Harith for example, physical attackers help better split the enemy team's defensive items. The same is true if you reverse it. If they go any physical ADC like Moskov, Claude, Clint, Bea,... etc., Magic attackers like Gloo, joy, silvanna would force at least 1 magic defense item by themselves when posing a great enough threat. Of course you would sometimes pick a VERY strong combo or draft a better matchup instead so you also have to decide what's better in those situations since EXP is often the counterpick to their ADCs and sometimes for the other EXP laner so as to not let them oppress and zone YOUR team.

You don't actually need more damage items on Hilda. Blade of Heptaseas is enough and just get defensive items that do some damage like Cursed Helmet and Twilight Armor. Then get the dire hit roaming boots in 8 min mark. You would still absolutely shred squishy heroes while keeping yourself alive. Just get flicker and always go for the backlines and focus their mage or mm.

As an edith main, the best ways to counter edith is either petrify or just not fighting her. Petrify her when she uses her ult and quickly burst her down (only if your hero is capable of that) or just run away when she ults and constantly poke her so her passive is never full. I swear it is the most annoying thing when i ult and the enemy just dips😂

actually most underrated lane for soloQ is exp . tho it is the most important role (after roamer) to change the tide of the battle and map control . exp laner is one of the key to victory . if you gain full control over your map and have the key to bait or open the war . you can win easily since exp laner most important job is to chase the enemy midlaner/goldlane . in this situation if controlled by you, you may give free hit for your core while giving the pressure to enemy core

Funny how my 2 main roles are tank & exp. Being a protector of my front/backline is my duty o7. Also in case you didnt know, from my experience you need at least 2 tanky heroes with cc in your team that can jump in. Heres an example: if your tank is Atlas and he initiates, you are likely Terizla and you have to guard backline from lets say Karina/Aamon. When you feel like Atlas is going to take big damage, you jump in with cc and thats your ult that makes everyone airborne and slows them so your tank can withdraw into the backline to recharge cooldowns or hit that regen while you are on the front line. Then when you are beaten or your tank's cooldown is ready or he healed up, 2 of you now share the damage and you can recover hp via spell vamp. Terizla can hold off thanks to vengeance and dmg reduction he stacks. Another bromance duo i had was when i was Johnson and my teammate was Pre-Buffed Gloo (basically non op gloo) and we were able to hold our own against 4 enemies until our jg came in and swooped em all. Another great cc fighter is Gato but imo hes kinda bad rn cuz he doesnt feel good to play. Still theres nothing better than you taking heavy dmg as a tank but you see Gato circle and him being like "i got your back bro". Truly a chad hero. He even has taunt if neccesary.

Id totally recommend burst type xp laners if you dont feel playing xp nd roam, go for badang or silvanna, me i usually play adjust to unwanted roles so i play tank and sustain heroes on the xp

I’ve had so much fun playing hilda lately, especially in solo Q. She’s so reliable in solo lane. She can fall off late game as it’s harder to pick someone off from inside their base but early and mid she’s a monster

roamers pretty cool especially if your doing hybrid build especially on minotaur good crowd control + heal oracle flash of oasis + favor and guarding helmet gives good health and heal and boh and gun gives good dmg

Beto, could you make a vid about EXP or Gold Harith? I used to play Harith often when he first got out of the ban list. But it's been getting harder for me to even consider using him. I heard he's a pretty ok pick for EXP and Gold tho (quite ironic given he was a jungler mage). I came across one in the xp lane who was an absolute pain in the aah, but I still don't feel like picking Harith over other comfort picks of mine such as Badang and pre-revamp minsi (I'm uncomfy with the revamp revmoing the instant stun and hp in shield).

i do EXP main Leomord, he is also good in laning phase 1:1. If Leo win the lane early and start to roam he can does a great impact as well.

Try playing her with execute, its a sure kill to all squishies with full tank build and dire hit, besides execute makes sure your opponent doesn't even have a chance to escape

Entering bushes heals you. 2. Each attack applies a stack, each stack reduces their Hybrid Defense. Skill 1: Increases her movement speed. Her next basic atk launches a wave that deals dmg behing enemies and slows the main target. Skill 2: Hilda launches an attack upto 3 times. The 1st strike pulls her to target, 2nd slows target and 3rd deals AoE Knockback to target's area. Ult: Hilda *smashes* the target dealing dmg that scales with amount of Passive stacks. At full stacks, deals higher dmg and stun AoE. [Guide] (I actually don't know how to play her so don't srsly read these) 1. You can go in and out of bushes quickly to reduce the health regen delay. 2. Going Petrify, Flicker, Vengeance or Execute are all viable spells for Hilda. 3. Try to ATLEAST get more than 4 passive to deal higher dmg. 4. Only use Ult for Finishers while using S1 to bait attacks. 5. She is an early game hero so try to invade with allies (if possible) as much as possible. 6. Do NOT build more than 1 attack item in Late

The enemy team is pretty solid lineup. I might actually try to play hilda. She seems amazing but sound effects of her attacks is off-putting for me. Silvanna had a nice one, then they kinda changed it, so I stopped playing her, but I think it's back now.

I used to hilda main hard , what ive found if you want to go hard for hilda is blade of hephaestus and hunters strike with fighter slow emblem to makeup extra damage , normally i have execute for a quick cheeky kill early too

Ive been playing inspire edith in exp lane and vengeance edith as roamer even before the recent buff. My winrate with her is currently 69.7%. Just reached mythical glory yesterday with her last game, and i got mvp too😁 She's great as roamer for pick off in early game, just have to be carefull in late game, she still easy to burst even with tank build and in messy teamfight, she's not that great if u compared to other tank like atlas. But if u survived the initial burst with vengeance and able to position yourself, you can turn and dish a lot of damage yourself.

Edith's passive affects only atk speed and skill vampirism. More full bar is, more bonus she gets on top of bonuses from just entering the ultimate. She definitely deals a lot of dmg throughout the entire game. Really scary early game
