I really feel like some kind of nerf is gonna come for Wanwan next patch. She's really crazy now. Just skill 1 and 2 basic attacks on the enemy's mark and your ultimate's all set. Just when you think you are about to kill her, she becomes invincible and make a comeback. *Wanwan's ultimate makes Argus's ultimate look like a budget version of her ultimate.* Makes me wonder why Argus and his ultimate gets nerfed meanwhile Wanwan gets buff like these.

They really made one of the scariest ults in the game easier to activate without detracting from Wanwan's damage or other abilities in any meaningful way huh. They should've kept the ult duration nerf, then Wanwan's ult would be more consistent to activate but not completely OP.

I would like to address all the replies in here 1. I used the spell flicker before so I didn't really dominate the enemies 2. My build wasn't all that good even if I had Wanwan's core items 3. I usually get overconfident due to dominating my lane and I get ganked in the end, this helped me improve map awareness 4. I was early and trying to be as supportive as I can, I mean like, have you seen some video where beto didn't address anything about improving skills or so but people say "This helped me improved a lot" 5. I did take a break from ml for about 6 months so I forgot Wanwan's mechanics and I was on a lose streak. I remember her mechanics now due to this video Sorry if I sound rude but these comments really hurt due to my mental health slowly starring to drop. Please understand

Also fun fact: with the new *_Attack Assist_* feature added, turning it off makes u able to spam basic attacks without stuttering your movement to go attack a target outside your basic attack range. So basically you can just turn this off so you can infinitely jump with wanwan without needing a target to keep jumping on which is more faster than relying on movement speed. _(also be able to focus on the turtle without attacking the creeps or litho whenever they get close)_

She is very situational if she can't get her ult or gets bullied in early it will be very hard to play her. If ur team is garbage or if enemy is tryhard chances of winning r incredibly slim. U need a good team and match up. Clint is a major problem for her bc she is more squishy than most mms and with just his first skill she can't farm properly.

U want to throw her first skill and while the enemy is stun and weakness points r hit get closer and use ur purify or jump to the side to hit the last point and activate ur ult. During ur ult u can use inspire if they feel a bit tanky. U should always build a survival item depending on what crazy hero there is that can easily burst u. If ur going to use her be prepared to fend for urself bc people have the impression that she is game changing therefore she won't need any help but here's the crazy thing she is actually one of the weakest early game mms who is completely useless without her 2 items. So be careful but stil don't let the enemies feel like they can just push u around

If you go to settings > controls > and turn off Attack Assists, it gets rid of that jittering effect when you're trying to hit someone that's just outside of your range. When this setting is off, it's helpful during late game, because you can just jump around the map even if the enemy is outside or inside of your range. Works with any enemy (minions, creeps, heroes, lord, turtle). Try it. Trust me.

Im sad about the new wanwan buff because the buff is too good and they made her too easy to play for new players so it doesn't feel like an achievement learning her and mastering her also they over buffed her so next patch she's gonna get nerfed to the ground and become unusable. I like the old wanwan with 4 weaknesses more, what i would do to wanwan is the damage increase on each passive hit instead of 40% damage instead when you hit all weakness because when she ults she cant dash until she kills someone and she doesn't have her skill 1 so it's almost impossible to activate the 40% dmg buff because you'll be unable to hit the one behind the enemy's back

In our server enemy hyper or mid laner with tank will constantly gank gold Lane, and if we keep losing one vs one a tank will come to assist for a while till we get a decent amount of gold. That just looks too comfortable to see mm getting free farm and kills, rotation is really important in game, especially ganking the hyper and late game hero is must, mid game is for pushing and early game is to slow down the enemy farm and gold as low as possible.

Heck, you can remove swift boots for immortality, then sell immo for rose gold after. You still can't really match up to her. Beto, i have some tips for you, Try to turn off the attack assist in the settings before using wanwan, so you dont need boots because the speed of her jumps is a lot more faster

@@Mukatutu it just "helps" you auto target near enemies if you press basic attack and sometimes it causes the 'shaking(?)' effect when you're attacking and retreating at the same time(mostly happen with wanwan and irithel) so turning it off is a really good play

@@Mukatutu As said by above, attack assist automatically moves your character to your target outside your attack range when you press the attack button. The problem is when you want to poke or kite enemy. Most of the times you'll want to step back a bit, but you may not notice you're spamming attack button. This creates the stuttering effect, because you're not using attack assist as how it works. Attack assist off turns off the automatic moving, so your character can move freely and spam basic attack without automatically moving to the enemy outside your range. It it still the same when attacking enemy inside your range.

The 1 second longer ult she gets by killing an enemy is way too long. They should reduce it to 0.5s or take it completly out. Wanwan is such a no skill hero

While that was really impressive, it disappoints me that the enemies were that bad. I can understand Granger losing to the buffed Wanwan, but that was something else; not only did he not get any help from his allies, but your tank came to back you up *and* he just ended up hard feeding. As the player you are, it makes sense that you dominated so hard; but in this game it's less about the hero and more about you being good at the game and the enemies just *not*.

@@Chan-md2hb the point I'm making is Moskov doesn't need to trigger an ultimate do deal huge damage. If you used the same build with moskov and he was good, most if not all MM would struggle. I love using Wanwan and she's my main for over 8 months. Obviously the update benefits me a lot, but I only saw Wanwan being brought into the fold. But now they will reduce her attk speed or something and just completely ruin her.

With the new settings of assisted aiming you can turn it off and basically won't need boots and just keep dashing with your passive as long as no target is in range

You need a lot more practice with wanwan. You didn't notice a few things: 1. It's now harder to activate ult than before. Because the weakness position is slightly harder. 2. Wanwan targets hp hero after killing a low hp hero after ult. I didn't find any technique yet to lock on low hp hero.
