In the early game, Alpha was a sidelaner. But since Edith has been playing a bit wreckless, Alpha took the initiative to become Beto's tank instead. Just look at Alpha's build on the results. All are defensive items and he never left Beto's side during the last fights. Both Selena and Alpha did some crucial moves and decisions in the late game. Thanks to them.

Something I've learned after playing against Wanwan is that if you can't ban her, pick a one-shot/stun hero. For example, I started using Aurora even as support because of her passive (stun) and because at mid game, she already can one-shot enemies that has no magic def (and on late, her passive/ult is unbeatable). Selena looks like another one that could help a lot on this, because she can also have a lot of damage and she also has stun capabilities.

You forgot about Wanwan's second skill. Selena is totally screwed facing against Wanwan because of her mobility and anti-cc. Similar case with Aurora but she can 1-shot her if she doesn't have her second skill. (It has a 9-11 seconds cool down)

If you're facing against me you're dead. Most of my matches with wanwan always win. I can solo the enemies 1v5. Wanwan is too OP right now and when I get my ulti everyone is like paper. As a wanwan user what scares me is when my opponent pick a 1 shot hero because I need to play smart I can't fight them head on. Yes like Gusion, Fanny, Saber Xavier. Not yin. The counter of yin is wanwan so easy kill. Yeah I'm a world Global

I mean I love how you handled this match but OMG the way Pharsa and Alice played their heroes was for rank Epic, Iook at the kill count and assists of the enemies, Pharsa was always flying in from the most ridiculous direction without cover (it was like she was asking to be killed), Alice which can melt Cyclops in seconds didn't do anything and purchased Basic Atk def instead of magic def first. Their Wanwan was the sole issue which was solved nicely by Cyclops's ult. Beto's team was not half bad as the enemy's team. Imagine being that poor Wanwan.

I once played against a Wanwan who ended up getting 28 kills. Only me and Argus could deal against her during the late game and our combined efforts to shut her down. Three of her teammates got bronze while Three of ours got gold. I had the MVP as Kagura but I could feel her pain of trying so hard to carry the game yet still losing.

@Nightwing not so much/yes a lot, when using her you have two choices: 1) you suck and feed the enemy team 2) you become a monster Carmilla is decently strong early game, not as much as hylos tho, but still good, while midgame is not that useful, if you know how to counter enemy equips, late game you can tank four enemies alone(except gold, wich she isn't good at dealing with) she would only need a longer range for releasing her ult, and longer range for her ult's chain, she is really fast, so a lot of times she is fun to play, you should try it, but be warned, she isn't an easy hero, while she is simple, you need to know a lot of timing

9:58 simply dodging wanwan's 1st kill won't completely counter her, one thing that betosky's mistake in this part is engaging/getting close to wanwan...even if you dodge wanwan's 1st skill she can simply recounter it by her fast basic attacks and circle around you if in this part of the video wanwan has radiant armor/athena's shield she can easily turn the tide. 15:27 This is a good choice...building frozen truncheon or wind chant is another good counter for wanwan but again it is wrong to dive wanwan head on if betosky didn't have that frozen he probably would've died and another additional knowledge on wanwan's counter is due to her low hp, CCs and heroes that can one shot burst her or generaly heroes that deals heavy damage in a few hits is a big head ache for wanwan, so overall wanwan's counters is: DODGING HER 1ST SKILL, BUILDING WIND CHANT/FROZEN, KEEPING YOUR DISTANCE FROM HER, CCs and HEAVY DAMAGES. (edit) Note: This is not a hate comment and i'm not saying betosky is wrong and bad, but instead this is an additional thoughts

I one had a match where I got savage and mvp. I was using dyrroth and I was completely dominating my enemy team which has 3 marksman, I think. But my teammates were just overly comfident and they believed that I will carry the game alone. But when it comes to the late game, I fell off. And we lost while I got the mvp with the highest score and my teammates just got chocolate.

Gotta say Selena is the true mvp here. They have been really helpful throughout the match with her stuns, especially in keeping pharsa from using her ult. They also know how to maximize the proper use of her skills and passive, by knowing when to attack and easily retreat. As a Selena main, I approve!!! Alpha has fairly good game sense. On the enemy team, wanwan is for surely the best player. Don't have enough info on what she's doing the entire match, but it's evident as she is completely dominating her lane. Franco knows their priority, which is to get Cyclops, but sadly it didn't go well. Somehow dissapointed with Alice. She probably could've been the most useful player in their team, by keeping the opposing damage dealers from fully engaging to the team fights with their sustain + vengeance. Pharsa don't even know how to position themselves. The rest were still kinda inexperienced. But ofc Beto did well as their core! Focusing on the objectives, knowing when to engage, trying his best to help the other lanes, especially knocking the biggest threat (wanwan) down, is truly the highlight of this match.

As I said Alice can help sustain and keep the enemies damage dealers from engaging easily, while the rest of her team can continue to fight with advantage of not worrying about the enemy's damage dealers. It also goes for the other sustain heroes, but unlike Alice, a mage that can easily dive into the enemy's back line (+ her second skill trap), most of them are fighters which will most likely take the front position, which is also an advantage for them to easily access wanwan's ult. Additionally, Alice already have the items that can decrease Cyclops damage. For Karrie, winter truncheon will be ideal to use once she's low and can't sustain anymore, ++ enemy's back line will probably already be in low health at this point, which can be difficult for them to whether stay in and take the risk or retreat. Alpha as I said, will take most likely in the front line. Edith isn't really a big problem either, cause we can see that she'll be going for wanwan. But yeah it will be a bit hard, since there's no other hero on her team that can help her engage. Unless the enemies start the fight it will be easier for Alice, which is seen on this match. Hehe I also play Alice, actually almost all mage heroes. Afterall, it is all situational + team synergy, but I don't think it will be easy for solo q players.

Damn, so you can counter Wanwan. I always just kinda avoid her since I honestly thought you can't counter her. Guess that's me being a p*ssy. There are many ways to counter her, like building defensive items or Wind of Nature/Winter Truncheon. But well, it only did take mythic rank and a complete monster in Cyclops to beat her. But still, this gives me hope to win whenever people don't ban Wanwan. Thanks Beto :D

@@anotherbruh6683 One can only hope, only reason I mention this is because even before her buff she was already insane and as a Chou main it’s insulting to see him get nerf after nerf over the years when he was never as broken as Wanwan, especially when she’s already so hard to kill without risking all weakness points getting hit cause of how close Chou has to get to her. Wanwan mains are lucky they even got what they wanted without any kind of drawback, as Chou always gets a nerf paired with a rare buff.

@@yep456 Another thing they did was they’d make amazing changes, label them as experimental and then decide later on that they decided to revert all the amazing changes. Big example of this is Terizla’s incredible buffs that would’ve made him more viable but removed for absolutely no reason. It sucks cause Wanwan’s current buffs on original server were also labelled as experimental according to the devs but they went through and kept those anyway and the excuse was for more players to have easier access to her “fun” and “charming” playstyle/ultimate.

So in early game using Cyclops, I have 3 dead and could not do anything, so I wanted to surrender but then I manage to steal turtle and lord again after that my status was 11/3/12 😅. Sometimes you just need to wait. Surrender is not always the answer.

Cyc can be countered pretty easily, you need a combination of hero knowledge and awareness (for pretty much everything).

Yeah cyclops is super underrated and you can suprisingly build him somewhat diversively if you know how to adjust your build to the situation
