I'm impressed by the fact that your team actually held on the fort and didn't let the enemies end the game early.. normally, it would be really tough to split push when losing like that because the enemies would just destroy your team defending and just go end the game..so you can't really rely on split pushing that much.. The enemies not ending early and just focusing on kills is what made them lose this match. ..Also its stew-pid to leave a lane after winning it, there's no point, I always go back and try my best to defend at least the 2nd turret as much as possible to keep map control.

This is actually my favorite Betosky video so far. Watching him snowball or gank is fun, but the way he’s calculating while knowing how small the margin of error is had me locked in the whole video. We don’t get to see this more vulnerable side of him that often either, a side I personally find a lot more relatable. His teammates were giving him and Moskov the most shit, but it was the two of them working in harmony that won the game. Seeing Beto resisting the urge to join fights and focusing on pushing shows such an advanced maturity imo. Well done 👏👏

Pushing isnt argus’s thing though, zilong and sun are way better options for that. Argus is mainly used for picking off the backlines with proper positioning and targetting the damage dealer. Im an argus main but id still argue that he does worse than zilong or sun for solo matches because he provides little to no team fight utility compared to the other exp laners. Terizla, Yz, Thamuz, and Esme for example are capable of controlling such a wide range making it easier for everyone else to pick the enemies off. Sun and zilong can atleast split push efficiently, both are speedy heroes while argus only has his first skill for his main mobility. Id argue that he definitely beats every single hero in a 1v1 late game but at the late game barely anybody would be seen in the map alone

I can say this is also why splitpushers prefer Sun over Argus. Sun is better at pushing, his skills are more unpredictable and thus he is better at surviving. He can also trade inspire with arrival allowing him better mobility and more strategy to be exploited. Both of them are strong in late game and can solo most heroes but Argus is just not as mobile as Sun, once Argus's ult is down he is just food while even Sun's 1st skill clone can cause quite a headache if left unchecked. In teamfights with good timing Sun can wreck havoc as well but Argus can only stay in teamfights in a very short time and if he gets cc'ed during ult, Argus is as good as not existed

I use gord to split push when we are down. Very fast clear, 1st and second skill at level 15 clears it all. I wait for two waves to crash in a lane where nobody is defending, use first, second, then recall. Go to the opposite lane because now the enemy will defend the lane that you cleared. Rinse and repeat.

Now, where's our 0.55% Argus enjoyers (more like masochists) at? Here's some useless tips: When using Argus, Split push AND Farming is your bread and butter. Any second you're dead is time wasted that you could've been farming. Second, know when your power spike is, this varies every game: this would dictate how, who, and when you should start fighting. Examples: 1. You outdamage your lane opponent: Maximise your inspire. Kill them as much as you can and drain that gold plate. 2. Your opponent outdamages or outsustains you: Clear fast and head for their jungle. This will be a trend for him, gain as much gold as you can. Until you reach your power spike. Do note that this dynamic can switch depending on the power spikes of your enemy (ie. Argus can easily kill most non-sustain fighters at Lvl 1 w/ Inspire, but you'd need to start playing safe at Lvl 2). His power spikes are his Ult and Berserker's Fury. At best, you only need close to 2.0 attack speed first before you can build it to be effective; usually after Corrosion Scythe. But there will be times where you need to build Sea Halberd first (ie. Esmeralda, Uranus, Arlott), then you can build the small crossbow first then SH then BF. After BF and Haas Claw (can also be switched for Utility), you shouldn't really need more damage items (not that it's a bad thing to have more) but especially if you're countered, you'd need some Utilities; use the rest of the slots (Demon Hunter Sword, Rose Gold Meteor, Sea Halberd, Immortality, Fleeting Time, Winter Truncheon, or defensive items if needed). Another essential, use your first skill as a stun, do not miss it's first phase. It's something that most people will be caught off guard with and if you have enough damage is a guaranteed kill. Also, a bit niche, but it does pull enemies a little bit. After that, it's just a matter of Map awareness, confidence in micro, and analysing your game. I may have only 200+ matches on him, but that 80% WR isn't something to ignore.
