Freddie Stroma is so good playing Vigilante, also Nhut Le who plays Judomaster, that guy is ripped and sells the action, and he's hilarious too, he was a comedy player on the Kroll Show before. Gunn creates these distinctive characters and his cast get to do amazing work with them.

I love the P&V relationship because Peacemaker is a douche but he isn't really the sociopath he sells himself as; meanwhile, Vigilante has something vital broke in his brain, but his chipper friendliness is earnest.

And he really cares about Peacemaker. Plus you can tell how much he wants to be a good person from his conversation with Leota and how upset he was when he realized he messed up. He brings a lot of heart to the show despite being a murderer.

I heard an interesting theory on the butterflies that they’re not parasites taking over people but they’re just hiding in basically human costumes. Which would be funny foreshadowing with the duck joke and Peacemaker being afraid of tiny people.

Murn was always a butterfly, cause remember when they were about to assassinate the family, the only hint that they were butterflies was them pouring those yellow liquid into the bowl still not showing their tongues, and Murn immediately said, "take them out, theyre butterflies" and everyone else were like "how do you know?"

Is actually think murn is not necessarily a “good” butterfly but a mercenary one, possibly going against something deeper than we know right now. And looking back at other dialogue from him, there’s been hints that he’s a butterfly. When he’s talking to economos and he says “that’s literally the first time I’ve felt and shared emotion”. That was the butterfly speaking literally, he’s like drax in a way where he’s never trying to be funny. He’s genuinely new to what comes with taking hold of a human. Love James Gunn! (P.S the chip bag rolling across the screen 😂)

@@mudiametokunboh2370 funny enough my fav superhero show isn’t from DC or Marvel. Invincible is mine, I had read and watched The Walking Dead but didn’t know Kirkman had a superhero run! Watched the show first then went through the comic, even though it’s animation I think if it continues down the road it’s going- Invincible could be the best superhero series period in the long run. I am loving what Gunn is doing with this show though, John Cena really surprised me!

I think the reason Chris loves his dad so much Is cause not he's a racist sympathizer but cause he's dad is the only thing he really has for a "loved one". I mean who else is there?He doesn't see vigilante as his best friend nor the team and the only thing he had to a friend ie rick flag,he killed him. His breakdown in episode2 shows it. I think by the end of the show,he'll actually get friends who love him and he'll stop yearning fr it from his father.

Villains escaping from Arkham is more a government/police department issue. Like Batman goes through the trouble of capturing them and Gotham PD can’t do the bare minimum of keeping them in jail. Also I’m not pro capitol punishment but does Gotham not have the death penalty?

Man. If y'all are loving Peacemaker you definitely gotta check out Doom Patrol. I was saying just the other day how much better this show fits into that universe as compared to the DCEU. Same general tone. Same "we're dealing with a whole bunch of real shit, but also there's a bunch of super power shit going on around us too" kinda vibe.

vigilante was sad because he tried to kill peacemakers father, but he fucked it up by saying "you're a bad dad". this lead him to say he had info on their suspect so he could go into witness protection, making it harder for vigilante to kill him.

Someone may have already suggested this, but what if there are two factions of the butterflies? What if Amanda Waller knows Murn is a butterfly and that's why he was put in charge of the mission. Remember in The Suicide Squad movie Harcourt and Economos betrayed her. Peacemaker was recruited because he's a killer and an asshole.
