I'm not used to seeing Charlie Cox focus his eyes on people and things yet, LOL! I wish I could see these three terrific actors on stage together!

i wish i could have seen the play, however, a friend did and she took a note from me to him. he read it on the spot actually and seemed genuinely appreciative of the fact that i had taken the time to write the note. i remember being so scared as i wrote the note. my hands were shaking so the penmanship was awful

sitting in the audience as the lights go down and the curtain opens, and then you see the three posed completely still and it’s completely silent...i’ll never forget that feeling

Saw the play October 24th and loved it! And I'm incredibly grateful that they took the time to come out at the stage door ❤️ Also the song, one of my favourites.

I wonder if they're going to ask Charlie to be Tom's best man. It would be simultaneously the best and the worst idea ever. 😁

I disagree that Robert betrayed Jerry. Jerry is having a long term affair with Robert's wife. That is the ultimate betrayal. I feel that once that line is crossed, Jerry is no longer Robert's friend and Robert doesn't owe him anything including telling him that he knows about the affair. Whatever his faults are and actions that he takes that are not great reflections on his character, I see the betrayal of marriage vows in that way as one of the worst forms. She didn't just have a sexual affair. It was an emotional relationship and it was with his best friend. I wouldn't say that I'm necessarily overly sympathetic to Robert. I just think he's justified and owes them nothing. It's a very fascinating play. I wish I could see it.

I think that’s what’s interesting about how the play explores human behaviour. We’re looking at it from the outside, with logic and reason, so of course Robert owes Jerry absolutely nothing. Whereas Jerry, or Charlie who’s playing him, is looking at it from Jerry’s, albeit irrational, emotional state, who despite perpetrating the worst, most offensive betrayal against Robert, still feels there is a friendship there and by not revealing his knowledge of the affair, Robert is betraying him.

I agree with your view point. But its true we are not all the same... They (characters) clearly needed to experience this for their life to be the vilen... If the vilen can transform to being a hero then that is very courageous of them to go to that very dark place to find their way to the light. But I agree, Id rather keep my life *simple" and do good inspite of the challenges not to. Life.. Wow its complicated, challenging but we do get help along the way XX

They never mention the betrayal of the children. Which is in the middle of it all, and will be the ones most affected by the ordeal.

I havent seen the production, but Im sure its a master piece. They sure know how to tell the truth /story of these characters. Betrayal... Such a painful word.. Can never happen if there was no deep true love. And when that energy ends they go their own way and the love /story/truth ends.God was betrayed be Lucifer but that story/truth still goes on.. It hasnt desipated and seperated yet.
