It's kinda hard to take revenge if it's an isekai unless the kids died or got moved as well. An isekai takes place in a different world. It would be "saisei"(再生) or "reincarnation" if it's in the same world. EDIT: In the title of the manga it literally says "reborn".

You’re definitely not the only one. This comes across like a poor machine translation that was never checked over by someone who actually speaks English. They repeatedly call people the wrong name, say the opposite of what they mean like X didn’t happen when it should be X did happen, and just use poorly formed sentences with odd grammar. Honestly pretty badly done.

honestly most manga recap channels are pretty trash. there's a few good ones but usually these types of channels are pretty low effort. I use these videos as an outlet to find manga and then just read myself.

@@pratheekk__ yeah... i've noticed that unfortunate trend as well, and i do the same thing now. i thought i wouldn't like reading the manga, because--you know, "reading"--but videos like these have motivated me to start looking them up. i'm glad i did, too, because i actually enjoy reading manga a lot more than i thought i would. i actually found my first case of "the manga is better," while i'm at it. i found "failure frame" a couple weeks before the anime came out, and i was enjoying the manga... but the anime leaves much to be desired.

@@pratheekk__ preach, brother. something that i haven't found on ANY recap channel is the correct japanese-sounding pronunciations for a lot of words via the tts they use to narrate the videos. the solution is simple: spell the words phonetically. like, for onii and onee-chan, spell it like "oh knee" and "oh nay." another one is (name)-kun. it always sounds like "gun" but with a k. easy fix: spell it like "coon," (name)-coon. of course, they'd have to first put in the effort to make sure each character's name remains the same throughout the piece, so... there's probably not much hope for that. it's a small issue, but it bothers the sh!t out of me.

Based on the start, I’m not sure the betrayal was necessarily pure evil. The MC was basically forcing a war and planned to solo it on the backs of thousands of sacrifices and then admired he wasn’t even strong enough to pull off the carry anyways. Sure the planned sacrifices were scuffed, but other than doing a lottery, any sacrifices would be scuffed. If you can’t win a war and losing is pure genocide; then sacrificing non warfighters and resource users are honestly a must. Because if the demons lied, you’d be more prepared for war.

He made the decision because he had Cedric, and since it would drag the nobility into it they decided to assassinate him instead because they believed that they can get away from it by sacrificing the elderly and children like the sickos they are.
