The Giants should have a look at Tanner McKee For a third string QB he looks impressive better than many backup qb’s
@jeffreyval966517 күн бұрын
He might be a starter on some teams. He's the best pure passer out of all 3 Eagle qb's and has poise in the pocket. The Eags aren't getting rid of this guy. I'm sure the Eags would let go of Kenny Pickett lol.
@TheodoreRizzo17 күн бұрын
@ not sure how how backups and third string contracts work but I’m sure if there are teams that willing to give them a legitimate opportunity to be starters and they ask to be released teams should oblige to that request.
@jeffreyval966517 күн бұрын
@TheodoreRizzo Idk how that works either or what his contract status is, but the Eags would be fools to get rid of this guy. He's a legitimately good qb, and Kenny Pickett is a complete bust. Just because he was drafted in the first round doesn't mean he's a first round talent. If this concussion is worse than they're saying and Hurts is unavailable, they should start McKee next week.

I guess it's fair to question Minnesota, but I have an issue with listing Green Bay ahead of them. Minnesota swept them head-to-head and Green Bay didn't beat anyone good this year with the exception of a nice road win in Seattle. They were 0-5 against the combination of Detroit, Philadelphia and Minnesota. Green Bay is good but neither they nor Minnesota is on par with Detroit and Philadelphia.

@leobreed9563 Big deal. He was 1-4 in NFC championship games. Every single time he needed that last game winning drive, he completely choked. Those great Jimmy Johnson defensive led teams should've won at least one championship. They outplayed the Rams, and Aeneas Williams ended that game. He played horrible against Carolina, and Rhonde Barber is still running the other way to end the Tampa Bay game. The moment was always too big for this guy, just like it's been for Jackson. They just aren't clutch in big moments. Playing great in the regular season just to choke in the playoffs gets old really fast. Those two guys are probably the last qb's you'd want if you needed that last possession game winning drive.

I thought when Mr Snider passed away that we would stop hiring ex Flyer players to run the team. Why do we keep putting these guys in management with no prior experience. I like Keith Jones but let's face it. He wasn't a good player and his best position on this team is color commentator on the TV broadcasts. It might be a novel idea to hire a general manager with some positive NHL experience. Unfortunately it's going to be a long while before the Flyers can compete for the cup
