Part of why I love seventeen so much is because they don’t put on a different image on camera unless it’s for comedic purposes. Like you can tell this is the same way they would act by themselves without the vlog going. And (not from a physical standpoint necessarily) I love that they are comfortable with not wearing shirts in the pool. And they’re fine with drinking and swearing on camera because they trust their editors and Carats. They’re so genuine and don’t worry about pretending to be these perfect little innocent idols and ugh it’s my favorite thing ever ❤

I fully believe it's because they were so used to being recorded and on camera before they debuted that when they debuted, they didn't care about cameras and didn't bother to learn an "on camera persona". Do I agree with what Pledis did to them? Not necessarily. But it did result in thirteen idols who have 0 fear of the camera or being silly on camera. Because nothing will ever exceed The Green Room.

This was Svt's personal vlogs during their tour. Those videos are not posted under Hybe it's under SVT KZbin channel. Usually Pledis have never covered anything unless its something personal. They don't even cover faces of their staff members. Most BTS videos are posted under Hybe and also Bighit also cover everything. Maybe the members were not yet ready to reveal it as some of them were shy. But now you can see most of them are confident and Bighit doesn't cover anything. Also Army is big fandom so some of fans you know might disturb the staff if they reveal their faces. I mean they would ask about members to the staff and all. So it's for idol and staff safety. For Seventeen, Carats mostly grew up seeing every possible traumatic moments of seventeen since the green basement room. So this is just a bonus.
