I like the scape. A few observations overall: 1) You're the only aquascaper I've seen that uses adhesive. You mention it making maintenance easier; how so? 2) The music seems an odd choice to me. Is there a reason you didn't go the typical way of something more calming and relaxing? 3) I do like the tutorial-style video, and I like that you don't get too pretentious and take yourself too seriously. 4) Thank you for showing how an actual proper betta environment - heated, gently filtered, and properly-sized.
@GreenAquaShop4 жыл бұрын
1) Easier to clean the rocks with brushes, they won't move around, they won't disturb the soil, won't damage the plants. 2) Music is of personal taste, I don't comment on that. We use differenty styles for the different videos. 3) LOL, I never take myself too seriously. I would have an anxiety attack if I would. 4) Cheers, glad you like the setup. It is ideal for that fish.

The more you use the safer you are. This has no CO2 and the temperature is really high - hence the organic decomposition is faster and stronger - so you need an efficient filtration.

I love this channel so much, i learn a lot of things for free, thank you, but as a betta owner, i would like to share you some experience about betta fish. First of all, betta fish love soft water, i usually put dry catappa or banana leaf on his tank, he love dark water so much, also i do agree that betta fish tank need filter but he love a quite water surface so try to avoid affect to the surface. And last but not least that you should play with him 5 to 10 minutes by let he see himself in the mirror, betta fish and especially halfmoon betta need it, it make his tail stronger and avoid fin rot, and if you see his bubbles nest on the surface that prove he in his best condition.

Hi, we watch you from Iraq. Thank you for your creativity. We make use of your information. We support you. Like you.💓💓💓💓
Beautiful nano tank! Love the scape. I think placing the filter media in mesh bags would really help the maintenance of the sponges though. What kind of fabric are you using to place purigen in? What can we expect next? maybe another wabikusa vase?
@GreenAquaShop4 жыл бұрын
Yes, you are absolutely right, I did not think when I poured that thing in. I'll definitely have to take it out with the next big maintenance and put it back in in bags. The purigen is in the "Seachem The Bag" - made specially for that. Plastic net... Next is an epic failure of mine. My worst tank ever. It is true. Haha. You'll see.
@dallasaddis64084 жыл бұрын
Beautiful tank (as usual)! I believe you stated on one of your other videos that you run the tanks for several weeks before introducing fish, is that correct? I love the idea of filling the filter chambers directly with the filter media. Would one be safe assuming it does not need to be changed during the life of the fish? Thank you for the work your team does at Green Aqua, you produce fantastic videos and it looks like you all enjoy working together.
@GreenAquaShop4 жыл бұрын
Actually, the setup was shot 3 weeks ago, and we introduced the fish only the day before releasing the video and shooting the final b-roll. It's a pity that with all your knowledge you chose to purposely omit any space of refuge or retreat for the Betta fish and also blasted the poor fish with glaring bright light on top of it. As you know, Bettas need a low filtered light that mimics their natural habitat and places to hide to avoid bright lights and provide hiding places for security.

I like the plant selection and size of leaves as it makes the betta look like he is in his own 'lost world'.

You are amazing, every video of yours is an inspiration to try something new. I'm a little jealous of your aquariums because I can't possibly get water as crystal clear as you do 😃

I don't know if people buy your tanks but if they do they're very fortunate. I would love to be able to make my own tank amazingly beautiful but so far the one I've done on my own it came out pretty nice for an amateur anyways

I'm sure that with a little practice and with time you'll be able to do even better ones!
