Jinxed is one of my favorite comedies she was great in it. She is great in all her movies. If it didn't do good it wasn't because of her and boy can this lady sing. Great story teller. Would love to hang out with her.

Same here. I loved Jinxed. Practically everything she did in that movie made me laugh. One of my favorite lines from the movie is when she goes to the insurance company to collect on a life insurance policy but she is not successful. As she walks angrily towards the door with her back to the insurance agent, who is still talking, she says: "Oh, talk to my ass! My head's had enough!"

@@kriswilhite5539 Actually, 'The Village Voice' gave it a good review; I was at the 1pm show on opening day at The Waverly in NYC, and saw him writing notes as the movie ran - only my friend & I, the reviewer & about 5 or 6 elderly ladies were in the audience. We were all laughing & loving the film, and we spoke to the reviewer as we were leaving. I later read what was probably the ONLY good review that 'Jinxed' got - a damned shame, because Bette was - as always - DIVINE!!

That scene in Jinxed where she told the girl working in the sex booth that their common boyfriend was dead and they just start laughing! Worth the price of admission right there.

Jinxed is *NOT* a bad film. I *never* listen to critics, why should I... I have my own brain, just as Bette seems to. If I like a performer I will see a film, buy an album, whatever. Someone elses opinion *never* has and never will influence mine.

@@alicehenderson7983 There's an old 2020 profile on her. She refers to how terribly she was treated by the cast and crew and production on that movie. At one point the interviewer asks her who specifically, and she declines to answer and says that "it was basically anybody that was wearing pants"

I like her song Wind Beneath my Wings but i don't like her how she treated Karen Carpenter...She is very jealous of KC..If there is one "SUPERSTAR",sorry but not you..The word is only for KC...the voice of an angel and loved by millions of people and this earth..Love you KC...you're still the best singer in this world.

I finally watched Jinxed. It was really bad. ءKenn Wahls Charakter came out of nowhere. They had a weird „chemistry“ and the script was very predictable. The singing and the numbers were obviously put in to bank on her singing and performance talent but that did not work for me. My least favorite Bette movie so far.
