It needs to go back to the classic form like it was in the 1st one. I watched the second one and that is a one and done for me. Whereas the first one I could watch that over and over again. I don't know why they felt the need to make the second one more of a musical. It was so random and felt out of place.

Loved Hocus Pocus 1, that was the best!! Hocus Pocus 2, missed the mark. I read the books and the Book for #2 was so different from the movie, I was waiting for it, and was disappointed. If they do #3 we need the original cast with the book 2 story which was great.

Eh. HP2 had a few bright spots, but, the move away from the original tone was disappointing, as was the ending. If we do get a third, the tone needs to be restored and Winnie needs to go back to classic total villain. Also PS: They actually went into a grocery store in the first film but the scene was deleted.

Hocus Pocus 2 was an insult to the original. I couldn't even finish it. Terrible script that gave the Sansersen sisters almost nothing to do but repeat the gags from the first film, constructing the skeleton of a story around the rehash moments to please the nostalgia, which is really the only reason it was made. It became unwatchable as soon as Winifred passed a house where they were watching the first Hocus Pocus. This violated the very reality of the story - the first film never became a film in that world. Awful. But I LOVE the timeless Miss M. She deserves better material.

Cept number two was terrible.... The ending was trash Danny and Max and Allison were NOT present. at least put a nod to their characters or and end to where they are at. The girls were very much on point with what I wanted but if you make a third film please Disney make sure you keep the villain a villain. The only way to counteract that trash ending is have there be some ulterior motive for why the villain would save her sisters. She didn't even care about her sisters in the first film. Why would she all of a sudden grow a heart out of nowhere.
