What a fucking beautiful human, this man has overcome so many obstacles and still perseveres. Some of those tricks almost made me cry man, the ankle is one of the most important parts to skating and being able to do these tricks with effectively no ankle and tilting ability is crazy. Much love to Dan, and his homie Tom for giving this man the recognition and time he deserves. keep shredding other Tom ❤

Hey Dan this is a great upload. Been watching your stuff for a while but never commented. I also have a below the knee amputation I got at 29 years old and the feeling of learning to skate with the prosthetic again is *incredible*. I've gone snowboarding, ice skating etc and it's like learning to walk all over but with a fresh mentality that makes you stronger somehow. Thanks for this man.

I WAS LIERALLY IN TEARS WATCHING TO SKATE , 2017 I fell of a roof at work 4 stories completely demolishing my feet and heels in 1000's of sharp peices rendering ym feet useless , I have come back from it now filming supercars and cars , but it was impossible to have to give up skating esoecially whem I grew skating with the RDS guys and was learning kicky BT's on rails, but to see him skate was the most beautiful thing I have ever scene thank you for that very cathardic moment since my accident
@Zuexis1 Жыл бұрын
It might be kind of weird, but you could do what this one guy I've seen does and use your hands to skate lol. He rides semi-slow on his cruiser board and does ledge tricks with another board using his hands while wearing gloves, pretty unconventional but it's still pretty cool & safe in my opinion. Unless you are semi-recovered and can do a little bit of skating again with your feet, in which case my comment is useless. Other than that, hope you're doing well in life now, keep doing what you do man, photography is awesome. ( And so are you :D )
@supercarspecifics Жыл бұрын
@@Zuexis1 I totally appreciate the idea, but the problem isnt just that dont work , it's also the pain, cuz I refuse to use a wheelchair and use crutches every time they touch ground its excruciating, but brother i appreciate the feedback, dont worry after all the years of being filmed and filming , filming rare cars has given my life purpose again and I've seen stuff I never thought I would ever see , hell I even became friends with Drake and his team and even do photography for Drake , so I keeping on keeping my friend
