Hello again, crazy to think it's been 2,5 years since my last upload but here I am again. I've been dying to make a video on Better Call Saul for over 2 years now, and every time I tried I felt it just wasn't good enough. But after the show ended, I started working on a new one right away and 4 months later, I'm happy to say I finally finished it. There were many times where I just stopped working on it for a prolonged period of time, whether it be due to just demotivation, or Kanye's disgusting anti-semetic ramblings the past few months, which nearly made me reconsider even uploading this at all, but I'm glad I pushed through and got it done anyway, cause damn I feel really proud of this lol.
I don't think there's ever been a single piece of media that has affected me as much as Better Call Saul has, Jimmy is by far my favourite character from any work of fiction. I could go on and on about how this show excels in it's storytelling, cinematography, acting, etc, it's just one of a kind. I just want to give a huge thank you to Peter Gould, Vince Gilligan and everyone else involved in the making of this show. Bravo.

"So you were always like this?" It's a testament to the showrunners that they didn't bring in Bryan Cranston just for fan service, but to further show how far Saul wanted to bury Jimmy. It satisfied the franchise veterans, but didn't forget that the show is about the evolution of Jimmy/Saul/Gene.

He could have actually talked about his regrets but all his actual regrets are pushed away by his persona of Saul, and the persona of James Mcgill is always left behind. As Jimmy says "Jimmy is always going to be Chuck's loser brother. Saul is the last line of defense for the needy one"

I think he has just ONE BIG REGRET: the way Chuck was gone. I think the “Time Machine Book” that Chuck took at the table explains it. The episode presented Jimmy asking to Walter and Hank what they would do with they could change things in the past. And jimmy never told seriously. But in the Judgment, he talked about Chuck sadly as nothing else, and after that was the scene of Chuck taking the book. Absolute cinema.

Every few days I keep coming back to specifically watch the Kim part of the video, followed by the Walter White scene. Devil in a new Dress encapsulates perfectly what Kim would’ve become if the Howard prank hadn’t gone wrong. A very dangerous version of herself. Then Jimmy’s worst moments intercut with conversation about regrets. Wow… what a choice of music. Perfection.

Finished El Camino and it made me really happy. Watched this after, remembering the BCS finale and it just makes me miserable. While technically he's sort of finally at peace everybody still thinks he was a cancer on the lives of those around him and never would've changed and that makes me so miserable, knowing that in his heart he loved everyone around him. I always think back to a scene from breaking bad, it roughly went that Walter has things he wants Saul to do for everyone in his life, but Saul says to him; "You have plans for everyone but i notice my name's not here. I thought i was part of the family" And that's genuine. But no, nobody cares about him. Miserable.

Dude, this edit has like genuinely ruined me. I listen to it in the background of what im doing. Browsing online, talking to friends, online tests. Multiple times a day. The audio of the lines from the show and the music ( which I now listen to on its own also) is so well put together I can remember some of the lines based on certain parts of the song or video. this is genuinely one of the greatest shows to've ever been made. i didnt watch it when it first aired, but i watched it when season 5 ended and season 6 began. i have memories of my parents watching it years ago and when they found out i liked the show we started watching it together once the final season dropped. i honestly got a little nostalgic watching your edit and i had a similar feeling seeing this like i did the actual show in its entirety. granted, i wasnt on the verge of tears like last time, but that doesnt conflict with how impactful each shot was. your use of music and dialogue mixing is awesome af and im glad i took time out to see this. great work

Wow, where do I even start? I've seen a lot of edits in the past, not just BCS edits, but edits in general, and I can't remember an edit come even close to this, and this will for sure be hard to beat. It's so well thought out and the way you have told Jimmy's story throughout the video is perfect. Everything from the order of the events that changed Jimmy to the song choice fit perfectly, and the editing on this one was phenomenal. I have never been this sucked into a video before where I felt as if I have never seen this before, where everything felt fresh and new. The way you captured those feelings because of your editing and song choice is something I have never seen before. The use of SFX, to muffling the music when Marion looks at the laptop was just perfect and gave me goosebumps on a lot of occasions. Every song felt perfect, and every song had a perfect transition. I love that you used songs that just scream 'Jimmy McGill' which truly adds so much more to this video than I could have thought. Every song had it's own story to tell and they're all told in such a different way while also slowly transitioning into the next chapter of Jimmy McGill's story which was just so beautiful to experience. Without a doubt, this video is the ultimate Better Call Saul experience. This is pure quality, this is to simply put it, perfect. Everything felt right and I don't see how you could change a single thing about it. This feels like THE BCS edit rather than just a regular BCS edit, everything just fits so perfectly, from the editing, song choice, sfx, dialogue, everything.. I'm really glad that you took your time on this since BCS is your favorite show, and it's more than clear that this IS your show. The passion and love towards the show is more than clear and it's beautiful to see this being used in an edit. You're an inspiration for me, as a friend and as an editor, and this edit shows that you are one of the most talented editors out there.
