Chuck clearly believes he has the condition, so it's psycho-somatic. Asia is right, it's like a form of panic attack, so he genuinely feels symptoms, even though his own mind is doing it to himself. But somehow has a mental block where he can't move past it. It's really interesting writing from the showrunners!
@markz26316 ай бұрын
Chuck’s a conman of a higher level than Jimmy, but may be unconscious of it. The scene with their mother waking up and calling Jimmy suggests that Chuck been overlooked by his parents but not Jimmy. That could explain Chuck’s perfectionism and need for recognition from somebody besides his little brother, who he does not respect. Jimmy looks up to Chuck. Being perceptive, he tried to model himself largely on Chuck. Jimmy is a ‘cheap’ version of a Chuck.

Wrong. 7.62 mm is .308 inches, and the 7.62x51 mm NATO chambering is all but identical to the civilian .308 Winchester. An AR15-based assault rifle most commonly uses a 5.56 mm round (.223 Remington or 5.56x45 mm NATO).

FYI. Texas is a one party consent state. For example. If I'm having a conversation with you, I can start recording without your consent. This is because, as one of the parties involved with the conversation, I've already given my consent by recording. There is also no obligation to inform you that you are being recorded. Laws get a little tricky with phone/video calls, though, because you could be in different states. Different states, different laws.

The photo copy worker held it solid but Jimmy held it even more solid as a human being by foiling his own plan, career, and life by immediately running to Chuck's side since he always cared about him against his own machinations and schemes. I always felt that this was a key part of his character, even at this point when he had every reason to wash his hands of Chuck to do his own thing while being his own man, on top of gleefully scheming against him, and Jimmy never abandoned family when his own brother sought to ruin his everything. Also shout out to Ernie.

Idk I’ve always been conflicted. Chuck is such a hateable character to me, I don’t like greedy egomaniacs like him. But he also turned out to be right about Jimmy. @@angel-lp2ku (spoilers)ok, and jimmy stole from his own blood, also had his mom worried sick constantly because of getting in trouble. chuck actually did a lot for jimmy that people always overlook (which mirrors his perceived treatment in the show) - jimmy would still be a jailed sex offender if it wasn't for chuck basically saving his life. also just because it's a "random lady" doesn't make it ok. it's fuked up to rationalize something like that just because you don't know the person.

I found Chuck intensely frustrating. His constantly equating what is legal with what is moral was nonsensical, especially from a lawyer. When he says to his brother "Life isn't one big game of Let's Make A Deal," I shouted out "YES IT IS!" even before Jimmy did. A lawyer's whole job is negotiating and arguing different perspectives. And often it isn't that the "correct" POV will triumph, but who is simply *better at making good arguments.* It makes for a great conflict and a great show, of course, but it drove me a little bonkers.
