@@billross9132 It's a heartbreaking realization that, despite everything Mike accomplished at BCS, he was murdered by an egomaniacal chemistry teacher out of jealousy and spite. Mike was the person Walt aspired to be, but he was never able to become. Keep in mind that the old man died for nothing. To be honest, it's heartbreaking.

Same. I used to watch this show regularly a few years ago, probably around 2018, but I can’t remember much at all aside from haaaating Jimmy’s brother. Definitely need to restart from the beginning, because I loved Breaking Bad and keep hearing good things about this show. Plus, the good part about not watching a show while it’s new, is you get to binge all the episodes with no wait between. It’s admittedly little bit awkward to me how much older all the actors look despite the show being set 6 years before breaking bad. Breaking Bad came out 15 years ago - so there is now a 21 year gap between the actors age and the canonical age of the character they’re playing. Because 15 years ago, they played an OLDER version of the SAME characters they’re playing now. Heck, even if these actors filmed Better Call Saul at that time 15 years ago - producers would need to make a conscious effort to make the actors appear 6 years younger (particularly Mike who isn’t getting younger looking). But now, with 15 years of age on each actor, to NOW make the prequel set 6 years earlier… yowzas.
