Facebook offline conversions are an additional way to pass conversion events back to Facebook that accurately attribute to your campaigns, ad sets, and ads, and also give you more insights through the breakdowns feature than website conversion events.
In this video you'll learn how to set up offline conversions for an online business. This method allows you to automate the offline conversion event reporting process, so every time an offline conversion event occurs it automatically gets pushed back to Facebook ads manager.

Is the new “auto” offline conversion that shows up under the ad level setup a new feature? Can you make a more recent video on this? It seems like they have changed the way they do this recently - or am I wrong? Under tracking when you select your pixel, then check the offline box it comes up with an auto offline data set even if I didn’t have one set up? 🤔

Dear Andrew hi , when the Business account that we will creat the offline event has more than one page and each page has a different Business type let's say (Jewellery Page & Phone Accessories Page) do we have to creat one offline event and upload all Data of pages or what ?

Andrew if we're specifying an Order ID, wouldnt that prevent duplicate data? Also, in terms of helping the algorithm learn and understand who were actually trying to target, is it necessary to capture as much information on the front end (say within lead forms) such as full name, phone, email etc, or is Facebook powerful enough to match it, even if were only collecting say, firstname and email? Thanks.

Hello Andrew, Just wanted to say that your videos are a HUGE help for me. I watch almost all of your videos and always get som sort of value out of them. Today I ran into a problem that i don’t really understand. About a month ago i installed the Facebook converstions API as you show in your AWS API setup video. It seems to me that everything is working just fine but this month AWS charged me 111 dollars for last months services even though I only had around 50 website visitors last month. Do you know why? Doesn't this duplication of data throw off the ROAS for the Ads and the Ads algorithm? Since we can't really be sure if the if there is a overlap. So one Ad may look like it's doing great with a really high ROAS when in fact it is half, because the offline events match that of the online tracked pixel events... How will we know which ad to scale? And will Facebook optimised Ads based on the offline and online therefore put more Ad spend into the wring ads?

Hi Andrew, thanks for the awesome video. But when you set up the Zap you didn't specify adset/campaign anywhere so how is it able to assign the purchases to a specific campaign? And if Facebook is going to base it on which customer saw what ad, then how does it attribute customers that saw several ads? Thanks!

@@hanaasyfidwinanda583 this is the reason you have customer information sent back to facebook. Fb assign that data of the order and assign it to the ad clicked before going off site

Hello, I have two questions that I would like to ask, and I hope they can be answered. 1: Take the purchase event as an example. After I successfully upload the offline event, can I check the purchase quantity and amount in the Ads Manager? 2: Will offline events be automatically added to all ads on the linked ad account?

I did all these steps & already offline event read no. of offline leads, but it doesn't show the number of "offline leads" in Ads Manager

Cheers! You’d do it by setting your Zap to trigger on Calendly call bookings and then pass the call booked event back (not sure if that’s the event name… can’t remember off the top of my head)

If Facebook cannot deduplicate between the Website Purchases and the Offline Purchases, doesn't that mean that the ROAS calculated by Facebook will be completely off (say if I spent 500$ and made 10 sales of a 100$ product, but those 10 sales are actually 5 sales overlapping between Pixel and Offline, Facebook will tell me my ROI is 2:1, but in actuality it will be 1:1, correct ?) Isn't that a problem ?

Hi Andrew! I'm looking to integrate our POS (lightspeed) and have it relay offline conversion data to facebook. There is no zapier option, do you know of any other way?

i didnt understand how FB knows who is the purchaser by his ID and therefore attribute the purchaser to the right ad, since you are not using their pixel , a bit weird, or it will only work if you inject your site with their pixel on their background so it will recognize their Customer ID somehow?

@@AndrewHubbard1 so just to understand FB may attribute the sale/lead to another ad which isn't the correct one? and one more question lets say someone saw an ad from a retailer(private brand) and then after 30-60 days he goes to his store and buys, When asking him to pay ofcourse will ask for his email, and it will attributed as well or there is an issue with the attribution window and therefore he must buy in 7 day lets say to share the data with FB for the correct ad? thanks

How do we set up an fb Offline conversion tracking with Google sheets? Have this question as I work Lead generation for a service based website, as the lead has to go through several calls with service professionals before converting

I’d use Zapier and set up a Zap that gets triggered when a new row gets added to the Google sheet. Can also set it up to only trigger if a column in that row has a certain value as well
