I have many plugins, so also omnisphere. However I do not have time to try it all. So a tutorial like this helps.

layering is great :D even if your synth of choice doesn't do it, 95% chance your DAW does have this capability, though it means multiple instances of a plugin >_> I'd be curious to see how Bitwig handles this specific patch. In my experience it uses waaaay less CPU than Live, but to be fair to Live it's a lot younger code-wise and is less burdened in that way. I love bit crushers, too, and SRR. Arturia's MS-20 filter can do some similar sorts of things with its distortion, too. I love it. Also, can confirm, this dude is always posting presets and desktop wallpapers, videos, etc on Patreon. I think one of the most important parts of layering sounds is making sure the layers are EQ/filtered to keep phase cancelling from the overlaps down to a minimum. A lot of the energy of layers just gets sucked away when the layers start phasing with each other. A simple quick filtering will help restore lost level from phase cancelation and give a more transparent representation of the layers interacting with each other.
