The huds,animation, and new attacks look fun, and especially stylish the one thing that Sonic Frontiers was missing was style and character. So I'm really glad this mod is here. This is what frontiers should have looked like, in my opinion. Hopefully, in future Sonic games, they start adding Style back into the franchise, and so far, Sonic X Shadow Generations is doing that.

As much as I love the majority of Sonic's catalogue of games, I always gotta give props for the modding community for everything they do, I literally cannot play Sonic games without mods anymore, not even the ones I love I cannot play SA2 without mods for quicker movement like fast somersault, Light Speed Dash on Y, etc. I cannot play Heroes without SH Essentials, with things like the proper Widescreen I cannot play Unleashed without mods for faster Werehog and combat and Homing Attack remapped on "A" I cannot play Free Riders without the No Kinect Patch I cannoy play Superstars without extended camera, remixed OST, Classic Knuckles gliding And many other games and mods HUGE props for the modding community for always making so much cool stuff for all these games

Edit: The parry animation was inspired by Sonic's fsmash in smash bros, and the other animations all have various inspirations, most of which are Sonic X, but the stomp is inspired by Pootis engage, the crouch was inspired by the Sonic Advance crouch

Sonic can run on water slightly in frontiers but you need the power boost and infinite boost to do it and it only lasts for some seconds.

Idk, I found appeal in Tails being a little underpowered compared to the other characters. It felt like he intentionally played weird as a way to depict the fact that he's usually an underdog. I could be coping but that's how I saw it. I definitely wouldn't say no to a homing attack mod, though!

idk if this is a hot take or not but i really hope theres going to be a mod that gives tails a homing attack, and just gives the extra characters more combat potential. i never really got into any fights with the other 3 because their combat was just so clunky and limited compared to sonic. seeing frontiers also breaking boundaries when it comes to modding makes me hyped for when people are going to make custom character mods for shadow silver or even jet with their own custom movesets.

i modded switch and pc frontiers, almost everything is compatible. but you need to use a program to convert certain files (mainly parameters and movement/moveset mods) to work on switch.
