The only exception to his as far as I'm aware is one scene in the intro where shadow stands over sonic collapsing (and he is seen holding guns in his left hand in the rest of the intro.)

This is so well-done and feels official. I can tell that this mod is a passion project given all the details, character accuracy, references, and effort put into it. I love how it takes plenty of inspiration from Shadow’s moveset from Sonic Battle and one of his grab moves is a direct reference of that one scene where Shadow roundhouse kicked Silver in Sonic ‘06, that’s so cool. See, this mod is a good example of why Shadow deserves to be his own fighter with his own moveset in Smash and not just an echo fighter. It doesn’t make sense to have Shadow as an echo fighter because he has enough unique attacks that separates him from Sonic. All of the chaos powers that he uses are the main example of that. Not to mention wielding guns, swords, poles, riding vehicles, using teleportation, air shoes, and most recently the Doom Powers from Sonic X Shadow Generations. If you want to depict Shadow as accurately as possible in Smash, then you need to have him be his own fighter separate from Sonic. Shadow is not a clone of Sonic. Just because they’re both hedgehogs that can move at supersonic speeds, spin dash, use homing attacks, and have a super form, doesn’t mean that they’re exactly the same character. Shadow was always given unique abilities to separate him from Sonic ever since his debut. Anyone who thinks that Shadow should just be an echo fighter of Sonic has not paid attention to his abilities throughout the Sonic series or just isn’t knowledgeable enough about his character.

It's sad that Shadow was never introduced into Smash. He deserves it just as much as Sonic. Those two basically would've been our Goku vs. Vegeta in Smash. Nintendo failed in not bringing Shadow into the game as a playable character. As soon as we saw Shadow as a support trophy, we knew he was never going to be playable as a DLC character.
